Go to the game folder. "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common" Make a shortcut of the launchpad.exe Place it on your desktop. Click it to run PS2. There is no check to see if steam is running with 3rd party games. Any game can be added to steam just by clicking add a non-steam game to library. It can then be started by steam and have steam community.
Does this work if u already have downloaded and patched planetside 2 and then all of a sudden your brother wants to play but doesnt want to download 9+ gb can i just do this on his computer?
I tried this today (patch day) and it just deletes all the files in "common/planetside 2" except for 14MB during the "Discover" process.
