TR players want to get to the next level?

So after lots of months of none nerfing, every half dedicated TR player should now have reached BR 100 either by swarming with mossies, harraser vulcans, strikers or max chaingunning/fracturing. Why not get out of tutorial mode and join one of the more challanging factions. Perhaps we can get rid of pop inbalance that way?

Whats the point of waiting till BR 100 to change faction? Are you obligated yourself to reach BR100 first? I dont get this psychology.
I already enjoy NC LA with godly merc.

Oh good, first the nonesense with the "God SAW" and now with the AF-19 Merc. Especially rich coming from a TR player since you have, by far, the best carbines in the game(see; jag and lynx). TR also have the best mid/long range carbine in the form of the T5 AMC. Not even VS have an answer here, despite having no bullet drop, due to having pitiful bullet velocity on their "long range" carbines.

Seriously, every time time TR try to make the claim another faction's AR or carbine is superior to theirs you can almost hear the clapping sound of the entire community facepalming at once.

my god damn point is that these threads are pointless, and OP's issue has already been confirmed to be addressed! why the hell make another post complaining about the vulcan when there is already a thread above it that says that it is going to NERF the bloody thing?

NC carbines sound is better than cheap plastic TR sound and yes I feel that Merc outperforms T5 amc.
On a further note, Gauss saw is a garbage. I expected it to have no horizontal recoil, but it just bounces too much. I mean really, burstfiring at anything that is remotely close to midrange? I understand why NC doesnt like it, but it is nonscence to say all NC weapons are worse than TR/VS. Merc is really nice killing machine, you dont admire it as I do because you start with it.

What does that even mean lol? Am I obligated to stick to one carbine and not try out other things to no success if I found Merc to be good?

Mostly my reaction was to yet another NC weapon being refered to as godly. I agree though, the AF-19 merc is an excellent carbine. Started out as VS though(BR80). Stick to the GD-7F(the sound it makes is just pure evil awesomeness) on my LA/Eng. Do however think it is weird for a TR player to call other faction's carbines godly as theirs are very powerful, and if you would refer to stats tracking have the higher score/KDR than NC or VS carbines(same with ARs). But yeah, AF-19 is a very well rounded weapon and makes sense as a starter weapon(unlike the NC6 SAW).

I stick to TR because I like them, all things considered. This won't change no matter what happens to the Faction in general, over/under powered or no, over/under popped or no, and I will not be leaving for any other faction, regardless of how loudly some of you care to cry.

Have you used the Vulcan, post-nerf Strikpoor, Chaingun / Frac MAX lately? They all suck. Balls. Lots, of hot sweaty balls. Enemy at 50m shooting you? Better spray with that Vulcan and hope to hit, because you sure as hell aren't going to do much of anything!

ESF floating around your base? Better lock on with that Strikpoor, just to have to stay ADS, have a friendly run in front of you / tree between you and ESF etc., lose your lock, and waste 5 rockets + valuable time that could be used for a fire+forget!

ZOE or Shotgun MAX giving you trouble? Never fear! Your Chainguns (which do less DPS than Blueshifts btw) might be able to scratch that ScatMAX at close range before he blows his load on your face. Oh, and that sidestrafing OP ZOE MAX? Piece o' cake! Just run in the other direction, and when he overtakes you with his superior speed and damage, cry to your mother!

Perhaps we can get rid of people whining about things they don't use / have no knowledge of currently.



Want to play hardmode with the "fast" ESF and paper tank with two offset cannons? How about running around with Lockd-- oh wait! You can't. How about hitting things at range with your T9 Carv that everyone loooves to pick on? Ohhhh that's right, you can't do that either due to the horrendous horizontal recoil that all TR LMGs are given as a faction trait. What do we have that you all want? Larger magazines? Sure, take our guns. I'll take a VS or NC weapon over mine any day of the week. What do we get as faction traits? Paper armor, terrible velocity, tons of horizontal recoil, and the real kicker: Immobile tanks and MAXes.

As far as I'm concerned the jaguar is the only TR carbine worth using, it is the best carbine in the game, declared by me, but the rest of our carbine arsenal is very lackluster.

People are actually responding to this thread for any reason other than to make fun of it?

First time I've ever heard anyone outside of a select few TR call the T5 AMC good. It was regarded as one of the worst carbines in the game for quite a while, and hasn't had any buffs. I like it personally, sure I think it's good midrange, but I think the NC's default carbine is probably better midrange, and that isn't even the NC's midrange carbine.

The T5 AMC doesn't have the damage that most midrange weapons do, you need to get those headshots with it to make the most out of it.
