Just as the title indicates, I am a new player looking for a decent outfit to join and to help me learn the game and get more into it. Outfits seem to be the best way to go if you want to have a lot of fun and do coordinated stuff with to really give the game some depth for you. Alright let's give you a run down on the Outfits on Watterson. BRSN (The Bearsnakes) - If you want to be a super-cool bad-*** who can clear rooms in moments and stick together, these dudes are what you want. TT6 (Terran Team 6) - If you want a relaxed version of the Bearsnakes go for these guys. HSTL (Hostile Paradigm) - If you want drunken shenanigans, Galaxy Bowling, Pissing off everyone, Space Australia and Hilarious Meatgrinders join these dudes. - TRAF (Terran Republic Air Force) A Very Large group if you like a lot of people join these guys. And there are a lot of other outfits on the server so it would be best to look around before jumping headfirst into a single one.
BRSN is happy to turn players new to the game into badasses. We hold regular training sessions to teach players how to work as a team, as well as offering tutorials on ideal certifications, and theorycrafting for weapon choices by some of our guys who enjoy that sort of thing. We still like to have fun with HTSL though, nothing beats camping space australia at the end of an operation. There's many good outfits on Waterson. It depends on what you're looking for. Small coordinated outfits best for specific tasks and goals or large organized that provide the muscle and spearhead of the front. There's us, The [CDL] Dragon Wolves; http://www.dragonwolves.com We're a smaller tight knit outfit of gamers that have become close friends through our years of playing together. Check us out if you prefer a smaller, tight knit outfit role. We play all classes with Air, Armor and Infantry groups. We coordinate our target goals with an alliance; The Grand Army of the Republic. This alliance consists of several TR outfits on Waterson, each too are great outfits just to name a few. With the server merge, there's discussions with Jaeger outfits to join the alliance as well. Some are like us, smaller in size. Some are large spearhead sized. I play as vanu and one of my favorite outfits to fight against is Imperial Reach (IR). They seem like a good group of guys that are eager to train and help others enjoy the game in an organized outfit.
EGO and CDL are good as well. Few outfits give XoO a problem, but I always end up having to say "clear comms" whenever I run into them. Our conversation of honey badgers and how awesome Kyoji is devolves into some serious fire team organization.
