TR nerf in patch?

A small decrease in movement accuracy was made with the 40 round assault rifles and carbines.

Are not all 40 round weapons TR weapons? Dunno how much this will affect, but why not just say nerf, that is kinda hidden in the notes, they don't say directly it is TR nerf. We will see what happens. What do you think?
  2. Monnor

    Im sure you can still.....

    I think you're overreacting.
  4. NoctD

Don't worry - SOE seems to favor your easy win side - VS is like easy mode all the time. Not a single nerf to your side specifically, despite your super accurate weapons and the Saron Mag eye of doom.
  5. Liquid23

it's a gaming forum everyone overreacts about everything... the patch notes could read "100 round LMG mag now only holds 99 rounds" and there would be pages of threads about how the game was doomed, the developers are incompetent and the OP's life is in shambles and ruined forever
  6. Xenus

Not a single change in VS side, so we should all roll VS then?
  7. keqe

I am not overreacting, Im not even asking for reverse. I said in my post that we will see what happens. It will probably be very minor anyway. Trac-5 CoF is very random anyway
  8. Joe Doe

Yeap, rerolling Vanu is a good idea now...
  9. Monnor

Yours too, you think i dont know TR guns , TR is the same easymode like VS, and only those 2 are a challange for each other.
  10. AccelPrime

Amg, miniscule change and suddenly TR is UBERWEAK!!1!

TR's infantry weapons are still superior in comparison to both VS & NC, so stop complaining.

Monnor, I have played with NC weapons, only Gauss saw is crap for starters. Other weapons are just as easy to use as other factions weapons and are just as good.
  12. keqe

When I just notice a thing in a patch notes and make a discussion about it in the forums, all the damn NC/vanu trolls come and QQ. I am not even whining about the nerf. I just wanted to know your opnions about it (constructive ones)
  13. Flarestar

You're insane. NC weapons have demonstrably worse vertical recoil, COF recoil, and rounds per second in almost every case when you compare weapon to weapon.
  14. keqe

Why then I can hit a guy from about 75-100m full auto with mercanary or gauss rifle, just as I can with TR weapons? Maybe there is more recoil, but it is controllable. CoF can't be that bad if you can shoot full auto as far as TR can.
  15. Monnor

Actually the SAW is the only weapon i like, its like a M60E4.
NC guns are slow, and slow guns lose.

We can talk about all day long about, but i use a shotgun for close combat, cause i was sick die in 2 sec if i meet VS or TR.
  16. keqe

Agree, let's not turn this post into "TR op nc sucks" post.

You do realize the Magrider's PC cannon (default) is weaker than the defaults of opposing MBTs?

I love reading forums, every single thread has about 50 pieces of false data being lobbed around.

Seriously though, this has been tested and proven right here in forums.

But yeah, this might add some balance. Personally, I think it was an unnecessary change. The CARV is what should've been nerfed, not the others.
  18. keqe

You also realise that magrider PC cannon reloads faster than vanquards=same dps. Also Saron, enough said. Don't nerf saron, just give NC and TR equal secondary weapon. Not to even mention magriders agility.

Please this post is derailing. Don't turn this post in to flame war.
  19. KoSGunny

And how is correcting false data a flame war? Pot calling the kettle black here. Oh and counting the amount of shots to kill a single tank, not same DPS. Over a longer period of time the shortened reload would make up for damage: But counting 4 shots vs 3: Shortened reloads will not even the odds. Other MBTs in 1v1 will cause more damage, faster. So no, in practice they do not have the same DPS: Magrider's is lower.

Geez, keep your pants on people! I doubt this is going to be any kind of game-breaking change... We're talking a SMALL decrease in MOVEMENT accuracy. This effectively means your medium-close range fighting capability takes a very small hit if you have a tendancy to move about while shooting at this distance. Our beloved TR rifles will still be just as efficient upclose-and-personal as they currently are, and at medium to long range you can't really move at all anyway if you intend to hit anything...
