I recently got the TR Grizzled male voicepack. While using it, I experienced it as being very silent. When people shoot around you, I can barely hear myself. When fighting Vanu PPA Souvereignity I couldn't hear myself at all. Spotting enemies, requesting ammo or repairs, often noone seems to hear me. Is it possible to tune its volume a bit up?
Another sad confirmed case of the Vanu whine virus, and in particular this seems to be the virulent PPA strain. More infectious than some other highly infectious virus that is in the news right now. The PS2 forum needs to close its borders before it gets any worse.
VS please, you know what a joke is? I keep saying things like NewZerglomerate, TotallyRekt, VanuSpammereignity. Stop being instant ******** when someone says PPA. It is called making fun of something. PPA Souvereigniny, Banshee Republic, Jackhammer Conglomerate. In this post I just made a little joke about you VS guys showing your love to the PPA and making everyone deaf. Silent voicepack? A really loud weapon? Good base for an argument found, can't hear the voicepack due to loud environment. How to argument: 1. hypothesis -> The TR Grizzled voicepack is too silent 2. argument -> The voicepack volume should be tuned up so the players around you can hear your voice commands. 3. example -> Noone can hear me when there is a VS with PPA around. I made this little poke looking forward to the possible PPA changes with doubled fire rate, which results in even more noise. You know what stilistic devices are for? They make a text enjoyable to read instead of boring. In this case I used a little exaggeration by stating that all VS only spam PPA and noone can hear anything because of it. I suspected that people would realize I made a little fun of you guys.
The "Is there a way to tune the volume up?" was directed to the developers. I did not ask if I can tune the volume up, I meant to ask the devs if it is possible for them to increase the voicepack volume. It is missunderstandeable, I realize that. Still thank you very much for trying to help
please just stop typing. he has a good point and this thread isnt even about the VS, stop thinking its all about you goddamn its annoying. like it or not the PPA is VERY LOUD, I dont give a crap whether you dont like that fact or not but you and the rest of your ilk need to kindly take a long walk of a short pier to hope you will stop jumping on every thread like "ITS ANOTHER VS NERF/WHINE THREAD", for people without greenhorn voicepacks most of the time cant even be heard at all. @OP its the same with the NC stalwart voice pack, during a battle i can hardly hear myself spot people, which means nobody else can either. I do hope they turn the volumes of these voice packs up
It is annoying isn't it, when everything you read is VS this, VS that. The forum has become a toxic place because of the anti-VS posting which has gained a ridiculous amount of traction over the past few weeks and is out of hand. So no, forgive me if I can't right now pick out a joke from a serious comment. I guess the joke is there clear as day huh, except many VS like me are just sick of reading the same thing day in day out and fail to see it. You know what else is loud? Everything else in game. I'm not disputing the soundpack is quiet - a lot of the new ones are.
