Friendly bump from a Vanu in GotR. BWC is the best TR outfit on mattherson, i want to see them with more members so we can have some good fights!
  2. jelf

Thank you. A compliment from the enemy is always great;).
I'm looking forward to fight more with you guys too.
  3. TehBenju

Honestly every time we fight you guys it's like 3 or 4 tanks, a couple mossies and maybe 1 platoon of infrantry. and you do well. good fights every time. But we outnumber you sooo much it makes me feel guilty. 4 prowlers vs 15 magriders is a sad day for TR. 4 mossies vs 12 scythes etc.

And you're always acting coordinated, never any smacktalk yells. We only stomp you so hard out of pure numbers, when we have anything close to even numbers we still win ;) but it's always a good fight!

None of that enclave nonsense, these are real warriors.
  4. Blackiron

Proud to serve (Even if I'm not the most active person in the world...)

I'm relatively new to PS2 and haven't had much experience as an FPS gamer, so coming into a game with such a large scale and that often moves at a breakneck pace can be a bit disorienting for a noob like myself. Being a part of a BWC made that transition much easier because of the focus on training and professionalism with a strict adherence to the company's SOP. The varied Ops, training progression, career routes, etc. provide great incentive to put in the time to improve and play.

There are some things I really personally appreciate about BWC and the way they run things:

    1) No ******-waving "Shouty McLoudface" types screaming at the squad in TS.
    2) Communication discipline
    3) Very capable instructors
    4) Well organized and executed training exercises
    5) Maintenance of discipline (especially when it comes to griefers)
    6) Our patron saint, St. Fuapap.

I hope this helps anyone who's looking for a great gaming company to join.

This game hits a a higher level of enjoyment, when you add the element of organizing, and large scale teamplay, BWC excels in this manner. If you are wanting to do more then just zerg with the usual meta, and feel more apart of a team, one entity this is the place you want to join.

Also we do know how to have a good old time, as being on 100% full on focus would drive anyone insane

these being some of our fun events, along with the more organized ops which are more combat focused of course.
  7. Jomo

Just when you're having the fun OPs, keep an eye out for the friendly galaxy from Jomo. I have a tendency to interrupt ;)
  8. Rohan

Excellent OP last night. Locked two conts in less than a 45 minutes.
  9. Degrifter

I haven't seen him around but If we do I'll point him here?

For any of you on the fence about joining let me say this. If the words team work, organization, fun, and success are thing's that would describe what you're looking for stop thinking about it, and go post your app at www.the-bwc.com .

The BWC is a family and we're always looking to adopt like-minded people into our home, so come join us ;)

My new best memory with the BWC is now capping Ikanem Bio Lab with five people. I took a squad in, dropped us off in two man teams on two of the outliers, and sent the Gal pilot off to cap the third by himself. When the first outlier flips, I send in fire team one, consisting of Expediter and Warborn, to take down the gen and the SCU. The other two outliers flip, the gal comes back for us to drop us off at the fourth and I hear the exact words I had been dreading the whole time. Expediter just calmly says 'Enemy Contact". Something like half a squad came through that door and ran right into our command sergeant major. By the time the fourth outlier had been flipped and the rest of the squad came in, those two guys had a total of twelve kills. Whole process took maybe three minutes. I relearned two things that day. One: The BWC is awesome and I'm beyond grateful to count myself as one, and Two: Always fear Expediter.

Had a great time last night around Allatum and the Vanu Archives. Working alongside the footzerg created one of the more memorable moments pushing into Vanu Archives and then pushing back out the side and running down to Allatum.

Well done to BWC and other groups that were there.

I have been with the BWC for almost 2 months now and I have to say, they are the best players that I have had the privilege of playing with in any FPS.

Organized, dedicated, effective, efficient, and most importantly, fun.

Running operations with the BWC is unlike any experience that I've ever had in any game I've played. The sheer amount of coordination, competence and fun had is unparalleled.

The BWC specializes in all styles of play; I myself favor flying with the BWC air wing. This group hosts the best pilots in the TR, hands down.

My latest thrill with the BWC was on Esamir during a large battle in the skies over Freyr Amp Station. The amount of enemy air thrown at our forces was a sight to behold. Yet we did not falter; we took the fight to the enemy and engaged in prolonged dog fights for control of the skies. After several minutes of fighting, dodging missile fire, and avoiding the burning wreckage's as they fell from the skies around me, we were victorious.

If you are looking for an outfit to have fun with while getting the best FPS experience, then there is nowhere else like the BWC.

I used to play World War 2 Online back in the day, running with squads that were all about coordination and massive operations. I never played Planetside 1, but when I started Planetside 2 in beta, I knew that the game was designed for teamwork and cooperation, and that I had to find an outfit that could take advantage of this to the fullest.

I found out about The Black Widow Company through some gamer friends who described them as "Not everyone's cup of tea. As they run a military style outfit, with strict rules and guidelines." Well, that sold me immediately. As an "older" gamer with military background, I have grown weary of hyperactive xbros, self-promoting narcissists, and reckless cheaters. The BWC seemed to be the opposite of that, and they truly have been living up to those words ever since I joined.

So my recruitment advice to you is similar to what I received:

The Black Widow Company is not for everyone, but I don't say this to make the outfit sound more prestigious or exclusive, nor do I say it to discourage you from applying. The fact is that if you see an outfit only as a few chat buddies in teamspeak, you will be disappointed. If you want to do whatever you want when you log in to the game, you will also be disappointed. If you feel that your KDR, XP/Cert gain, or ratings are more important than anything else, then you will be disappointed. If you love to listen to yourself constantly talk, you will be disappointed. If you enjoy running around like a mindless zerg for easy caps, you will be disappointed.

However, you will have 11 other guys watching your back whenever you're on the ground. You will see large-scale battles and operations to an extent you did not imagine possible. You will be and feel like a critical part in a complex and efficient machinery. You will be trained to become a better player as part of a team, and ultimately of the game. You will fight hard-won, difficult battles and carry the zerg around the continents. You will be welcomed and supported by one of the biggest gaming communities in Planetside 2, and you will have fun! Most important of all - you will help us crush the vainglorious Vanu, and the rebellious New Conglomerate!

So, think twice about applying - we do not simply want bodies to fill out our in-game roster - we want intelligent, dedicated, and friendly players who share our ideals and vision. But if you do decide to apply and you are accepted, I can guarantee you no better home.

This is by far the most _professional_ group of gamers I've ever run with.
Here's what a night with BWC is like: You play as a team, you don't smack talk, you drop, you fight and you win. Awesome.

If that appeals to you, head over to www.the-bwc.com and sign up.

I joined BWC because everytime I was holding a point with the Zerg, and we were in hell, the BWC showed up and cleaned house. I yelled out to them and UFN responded with the website. From that point on, I have felt like PS2 has had mission objectives and a storyline. I have seen unbelievable maneuvering in Galaxies and the most amazing ground pounding teams you can imagine. They have taught me so much in the lil over a month I have been in the outfit.

If you feel lost in this game, or feel you need a little bit more than just a daily grind, these guys put that substance in there for you. And their S-1 team that works on the site is to be praised to the programming gods.

I joined BWC 6 months ago they are one of the most Organized gaming company's Ive ever played with they had members from all over the world. They bring a whole new level of team play to any game they play. PS2 isnt my primary game but when i do drop with the PS2 guys they make me feel welcome and point me in the right direction after playing PS1 for years this game is a different beast and they help with that.
No mater how good you are at FPS these guys will help you become a better player and you will make friendships that will last for years BWC isnt just a gaming company they are a online family and look after every member from the newest guy to the old and crusty big boss.

I'll never forget the first time that I encountered the BWC.

We (the zerg) were stuck assaulting an Amp Station during beta. After dying countless times to C4, turrets, tanks, planes and finally other infantry, I was about to call it quits after 2 hours of fighting there.

I then saw something that rekindled hope; I saw an outfit moving together and clearing rooms. They moved with purpose, precision, and a determination to win that I had not seen before. I quickly fell in behind them and started to help out in any way that I could.

I stared up at their outfit tag while we ambushed enemy infantry, armor, planes, turrets; all the enemies that were killing me for the last 2 hours were nothing compared to this outfit. I saw the name "BWC" and wondered to myself, "These guys are amazing, I wonder if I could ever be good enough to join their ranks." I did my best to follow them through the Amp Station; they moved so quickly through the area, only pausing to deal death and destruction, before they moved on to the next objective as a cohesive unit.

Only 10 minutes had passed and the Amp Station battle was over. The enemy routed, the rest of the zerg commenced their cap of the base.

Just as quickly as the BWC outfit had arrived, they vanished. I tried to search for them over the surrounding bases, but I found out that they had already redeployed to another continent to break the enemy resistance there as well. A group constantly on the move, chasing the fight across the battle lines, breaking the enemy wherever they may be.

I had been part of the zerg before... but after that experience, the game would never be the same again.

If you are looking for somewhere to call home, somewhere where working together to meet a common goal is the goal, head over to www.the-bwc.com and sign up.

I've been in BWC for about 6 months in another game. The organization and teamwork is outstanding, as previously mentioned. It's also lots of fun to win almost all the time due to tactical play and capable drop leads. I knew that a military styled group would be best when playing a war game and I was right. I play with guys that have a background in actual combat ops and they know their craft. This makes me, a total civilian, a better player than I would be in a more unstructured group.

Also, blowing $#!* up is way more effective when everybody shoots it at the same time and we excel at that. I would also like to point out that I am rich in-game due to lots of winning.

tl;dr join up already cause I dropped a legit testimonial here.

Been with this group for a few months now. Really enjoying the show. This outfit is a little more serious than others, but only because we want to maximize the enjoyment that we can get out of the game. We play a lot during the prime time hours for our server, but we also have groups playing during other time zones. It is rare to find a time where there is not at least a squad running together.

The group is dynamic, some more than others, but we try to get the job done in as fun a way as possible. In fact, it is very important for the leadership that everyone involved is having fun.
