I'm looking for the best outfit to roll on Jaeger with. The opinions I am really looking for are those of the TR and VS, as every outfit says they will be a perfect fit for every potential member. I'm not an elitist or anything, but I am a competitive person who takes pride and seeks exellence in all that I do, from raising my children to work to playing scrabble. Therefore, I am looking for an outfit that I can take pride and find exellence in, and any outfit good enough to gain the respect of their competitors (not outfits that spam the warp gates for random member with no QC) is good enough for me. I play mostly Engineer, Medic, and Light Assault (although as I pick up weapons for Engineer and LA, medic starts to become played on an "as group needs" basis) I also play heavy on occasion, since im a battle rifle user and the weapon is shared. I play 5-6/7 days/wk so I would like to see more than weekly ops. My character name on Jager is Remingtin (cause proper spelling was taken and im too lame to go with some crazy origional name like you hear people using on their children these days) I play late, like 2330 is when im most likely to be on, also in the early afternoon.
^TROLLOLOLOLOL HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH Oh yah, Matherson NC is beast! PMSL! Anyways, far as I can tell, there are no big outfits on Jaeger really.... As a TR on Jaeger... I sure as hell don't recognize or know any VS or NC outfits yet. IMO this is prolly good... I'd hate to be on a server with DD666 or Enclave or some outfit that can send 200 players wherever. (Personal opinion... don't take it personal if not everyone wants to play the same way as you)
Well the NC on Jaeger have some pretty good outfits. EZ company, Ethos, Phoenix, and Legion are the top ones i can think of. Ive heard that the TR and VS don't have as many outfits yet, which is a shame of course. Coruse I could be wrong, havent played as any other Empire yet.
EZ company would be where I would go (not that I am a great player mind you) if I were to switch back to NC. I see Ethos doing good things (well bad things from my perspective, but you know what I mean) the rest don't stick out in my mind. That does not mean they aren't good outfits, I just have not made note of them.
I'd agree with that. Those are the outfits I see most actively. From memory, EZ company are the largest and a planetside only outfit and use in-game comms for communication and recruitment. They're pretty strict with their members and It's one of the more 'military' outfits. Ethos use ventrilo for comms and are a comparatively smaller outfit with a focus on galaxy drops and behind enemy lines infiltrations. Phoenix I don't really know much about but seem to be a solid tight knit group and use ventrilo for comms. Legionnaires are a multigaming community formed in 2001 with a strong history in mmofps. We are currently 200 strong, primarily recruit via our forum thread and referrals. We use teamspeak for comms which is a requirement but a Mic is not. We have a website and forum at www.death-legion.com. We don't currently specialise in a specific playstyle and have a fairly casual attitude compared to some of the other outfits. Hope that helps. my comments were not intended as insulting in anyway, the fact that I have not noticed your outfit really means nothing since I have been on this server just over a week now. But I mean, yeah bring marshmallows and all that.
Worked with you legion folk before, good guys. Phoenix has 400+ members trying to catch up to our EZC allies. We use vent for our primary comms but we will use ingame chat for orders as well.
Can't say I've heard of any of the NC outfits on Jaeger. If you want well known outfits you'll probably have to try a different server.
Seeing as all of the outfit leaders have posted here this seems like a good place... I've made a thread with some features I'd like to see that would help organise my outfit, I'd imagine I'm not alone in this.
