The new functionality is somewhat complicated, so I've recorded a video demonstration with a couple of examples. Youtube is borked for now, so here's a vimeo link.

Let me know if you have any questions.

The tool is far from perfect, and there are a number of issues, like missing Composite Armor data for aircraft (for now). Grenades and other thrown explosives don't work either. There are other issues as well.

There could still be some bugs too. Hell, I found and fixed one while recording the demo video. So please let me know if some calculations differ from reality.

However, for vast majority of weapons and against majority of vehicles, the tool will still correctly calculate damage. I haven't tested ALL weapon-vehicle combinations, but the ones I tested were all correct.

So now you don't have to go to VR every time you wish to check just how many Swarm shots a Galaxy can take. Which is 42, of course.

As an interesting revelation, I learned that Mine Guard reduces all incoming damage from the bottom projection. This is hardly applicable during day-to-day gameplay, though.

Q: Will this tool be updated for upcoming Combined Arms Initiative?
A: It should be trivial, if Daybreak updates their API collections with Armor and Resistances, and there's no reason to assume they wouldn't.

Never forget that this awesome tool has been made possibly by based /u/PromptCriticalSOE [+8] , who addedthese new collections into API.

Released new version, which supports Composite Armor for aircraft, and the whole armor/resistance system works a bit differently behind the scenes.
