Tone down HA shields

    Thats really not it in the majority of cases for me at the very least

    Heavies are just a little too tanky to beat even with an advantage

    Youll start shooting and theyll be able to turn it around on you. im getting repetitive but thats all there is to it

    I'd be ok with shield nerf if one shot sniping kills are nerfed also

    It completely solves the problems with the HA class without breaking the game.

    Sigh. This thread yet again. There is nothing wrong with how HA's are. As it's been said time and time again they are meant to be the frontline fighting class and thus have an advantage in head to head fighting.

    The other classes have there own advantages that let them kill heavies with ease. For example LA's are supposed to be flanking heavies thus denying them that advantage. You are NOT supposed to be able to kill them as easy as other classes in a straight fight. Plus headshots effectively make the shield useless as it will be drained with just 1-2 hits.

    Sometimes I wonder why they don't have a rule against "NERF HA BECAUSE I DON'T FEEL LIKE AIMING FOR THE HEAD" threads at this point. There is a HEAVY assault and a LIGHT assault for a reason. They aren't meant to be equals in 1v1 no flanking fights.

    Infiltrator got TSAR-42, SAS-R and Ghost, which pretty much 1 shot heavies before they can even turn shield on. Or recon tool, smg and emp ez kills.
    Light assault got pump action shotgun and c4, which also one shot heavies from behind before they can even turn shield on.
    Engineers got heaps of mines. And long range AT sniping turret.
    And medic don't have shield, but they have personal healing instead, and healing nade.

    Unless you screw up to give them just enough time to pop their shield on. I don't see anything wrong with the current heavy so far, just pop on their *** first and they're pretty much dead.
    Otherwise, this is a team game, if you play it right you should have 2 or 3v1 instead of 1v1. Its just ppl cant get used to die when charge into a heavy and spray as they are heavies too.
    And I personally prefer pump shotgun to be available only to LA.

    Just remove their ability to heal themselves while jumping around like ADD kids and I'll be happy :p
