[BUG] Tomcats or A to A lock-on

    Now you are going to further reduce the intake rate of new pilots. The low intake of new pilots isn't the fault of anything being OP or hard to learn. Most, if not all new players are going to be pilots at some point of their game. Why do we see a low intake? That's the fault of the game itself as a whole. Lack of advertising (at least in my region), bugs, hackers, server lags, and other technical issues, as well as lack of content is what that kills the game and turns away potential players. Not "most" pilots are pros (depends on your server and fraction). There are still plenty of new pilots learning how to do basic dogfighting and maneuvers and want to choose a weapon that gives them a chance of survival against more experienced players instead of saying "oh I die now."

    There are games that utilise lock on mechanics, but we don't usually see them complaining and they don't really find them boring. Why can't SOE/DBG use them as a basis to solve the lock on issues?
