Im actually playing Vanu HA with Pulsar LSW,i get some kills with the weapon (im near BR 15 and did 170 kills or so) but i feel like a light assault when i using the weapon versus other heavyes,still if i put the overshields on,the weapon lose in cqc if they are using a cqc lmg. Pulsar LSW isnt that good. Also i lose sometimes versus a medic if the medic is using a cqc AR. Really im frustrated mostly times with those situations. I have the weapon with x2 scope,silencer and forward grip. I dont even understand why the equivalents on other factions (GD-22S and MSW-R) have more accessoryes than Pulsar LSW. I mean the other equivalents can equip soft point ammo,while Pulsar LSW not. And the most hated weapons i have is the MSW-R and TMG-50,all on TR. I got killed mostly times with those weapons. Also my computer is bad,its an i3 4000 series,4 Gb of RAM and Intel HD graphics and sometimes,caused lag,the bullets doesnt hit. Its a Little frustrating this. Maybe with a better computer,this problems solves. But in meantime i need to deal with enemyes with better weapons and computers. So,i just want an answer: is the Pulsar LSW good or bad for cqc????
Bad for cqc. Only one reason why. VS. And I base that on absolutely no experience with the VS weaponry. Hope this helps.
My highest KDR w an LMG is the Pulsar LSW. It's a head shot monster with a 75 round magazine. If you're trying to brute force your enemies in cqc it won't serve you well. The orion is better for that. It is however great for 5-6 round bursts into faces at ranges inside of 50m. I'm trying to remember what attachments I used when I was auraxiuming, pretty sure I was using just a fwd grip and flash suppressor (not a fan of the velocity drop from silencer unless you're sneaking around) with a 2x scope. It has probably the easiest recoil of all the lmgs and rewards good accuracy. Ultimately though until you're good at shooting heads you're probably better off with a different weapon. It performs a lot like the NS weapons, great for head shots, not so hot if most of your shots are landing below the shoulders.
Was my 2nd auraxium on my HA. Needs a bit of practice at first, but this LMG is good for fights at longer ranges than the orion. At close ranges, aim for the head or upper torso and it should be good. So far I've auraxed 4 LMGs on my VS HA : Orion / Pulsar / Flare / Polaris IMO, they all have their strengthsl, you only need to learn how they perform and where they are better.
Not to best weapon for CQC. There is one VS CQC option - Orion. There is Betelgeuse but it's long road for you.
