I guess we're finally at the stage where they have to choose their targets with care, like every other vehicle pilot or infantryman pushing in towards a possible hot zone. MBT/Lightning drivers and infantry pushing in on foot LOOOOOOOONG ago learned that certain moves were a no go (like running nose first into a base, sitting there spamming the main gun for a seven seconds, and then trying to push forward through the base and out the other side with your *** hanging out in the wind), its about time that ESF pilots start to adapt past the hover_inside_of_100m_with_rockets strat. To the credit of slight few, this is being done. People are watching for signs of flak and then strafing bases with missiles from 500m or more distant or going NOE and popping up for bare seconds before tucking back down nearer to the ground. The rest of you never had to deal with viable threats at a majority of locations, and now you do. Get over it.
