The State of Emerald

The VS will use /order to call for support.
The VS players will see that and actually help them.

When I play VS, and I see a call for help, I will go, and so do a bunch of other randoms.
It is not necessarily an outfit, or even a platoon, there are many solo VS that play defender, going to battles calls for help.
We have no idea of knowing if 10 of us are going to show up, or 50, depends who is not busy doing what..

You send a /order out on NC for help, you are just is likely to get a /order back telling you to screw yourself as you are getting help.

NC orders are relayed through /region and /yell. We don't hide our tactics because we often improvise. /yell SCREEEE

/re and /yell can't help you get reinforcements, as only people in the hex can hear that... SMH

Yea the VS are WAYYY superior to any other faction just because of the outfits and the quality of the people that play for VS.

I love playing my NC medic but jesus it is so frustrating playing on the NC SPECIFICALLY.. TR is OK but when i play on the VS side it is so awesome

VS= Strong Coordination, Strong Outfits, always has vehicle support and air support, by far the best faction to paly for right now.

TR= Good coordination and vehicle/air support during prime time and thats it.

NC=....i dont even know where to begin... play NC if you like getting steam rolled. i have found that most of the little kiddies play NC also for some reason.

NC has squads and platoons up that are not outfit ran mostly.. its just guys like the guy who started this post said... guys that are just trying to get something going... sometimes and very rarely something gets going... but not for long.

If you play on the NC side expect to have little to no vehicle/air support.... ever. It is very frustrating playing for the NC faction.

No he's totally right we don't need reinforcements coming in to dunk on tr and vs already getting dunked on. We arnt ******** go crawl back to your vs tune so ou can get gud scrubbie. There are some NC still doing our thing.

Emerald NC couldn't dunk on this even if they had a step ladder:

1. You are again ignoring what I said. TR and NC on Emerald may very well have lacking organization on a factional level, but they will also need the WILL TO FIGHT the VS. If the primary impression among them is "VS are un-fun to fight because ::REASONS::" and those reasons include something only the VS can deal with, the problem lies with the VS. Otherwise you are demanding that a bunch of players in a F2P game will somehow rally together, stop doing what they think is FUN (fighting between TR and NC) and do what they consider NOT FUN. (fighting VS) This is not going to happen on it's own. If the VS wants more fights and the TR/NC are indeed actively trying NOT to fight them, the VS needs to curtail the reasons this is a fact.

2. I agree. I've never said otherwise. What I have said is that the TR/NC has the appearance, from what I've been told and what I've seen when playing on Emerald, that the VS are very fond of using their weight of numbers to solve all problems. This is not a terrible crime in itself bit it gets very tiresome very fast for the opposition, ESPECIALLY if that swarm of VS is chanting profanity at you as a matter of due course.

3. I don't care. You speak as if your a VS in denial. You have repeatedly ignored what I've said and simply inserted your own reasoning into the debate, as if what I've said is not even worth responding to directly.

4. That last paragraph was not aimed at you,pay attention to whom I speak to. As for elitism, the attitude that VS has no fault in the current state of Emerald server and it's all on the TR/NC to just stop doing what they think is fun and do what they seem to not think is fun *IS* a very elitist attitude. It shifts all blame and thus all responsibility for the current kerfuffle onto TR and NC players and ignore what I have been trying to say for a long damn while now.

Finally, this is yet another post where I've seemingly had to explain what my damn point is. Kindly respond to what I write and not what you think is being done. IT don't matter if your VS or not, if you behave as you do here we won't be getting anywhere.

Ironically, you may be part of the problem.

You got the VS who smack when they win, basically saying 'you are all to bad, get better.'

Than you got VS like you, who out-right SAY how to get better in direct tells.

I'm guessing plenty of players appreciate your patronizing attitude. Or what they may very well perceive to be so.

You may be trying to help, but your likely only making it worse in cementing the impression of VS behavior and attitude.

Oh but we do, but we do.

1. You say they lack the will to fight. The will to fight is bravery. A lack of bravery is fear. So TR/NC are making objectively worse strategic decisions partially out of fear. Regardless of what they fear ("reasons"; excuses...) they're making decisions which hurt the game for themselves. In this case it's mostly irrational/emotional reasons which lack much basis in logic.
2. VS win more even-numbers fights than the other factions from what I've seen. So while I'd agree that a common opinion is VS zerg more, the reality is they don't rely on it and all faction try to demonize teamwork in their enemies by slandering it with the term "zerg" -- but meanwhile it's a smart way to play as long as you're dynamically budgeting your player count against enemy presence. (60% pop is a nearly guaranteed win; anything in excess is typically a waste.)
3. My own reasoning is only a minor part of what I'm saying. Most of what I'm describing is the plainly-observable reality of bad players making bad decisions and experiencing the logical results of those bad decisions. The fact that you don't care about reality or logic is quite clear, yes.

If you want to perceive it as patronizing and not as sincerely trying to help people, that's your problem, not mine. People have always been grateful.

I do not understand where all this VS avoidance comes from because i am never short of fights on the VS fronts, usually we are the ones with the most battles. Besides each faction zergs hard its just VS has more coordination then NC and TR on Emerald so the zerg hits harder. NC has Phoenix Battalion, when enough are online, along with Voodoo Company, Subglobal, and Blue Lions. TR has 903rd marauders, and Angels of Death, that's about it considering AOD has most of the TR pop.

I can tell you the biggest problem with some of the larger NC outfits (since I have talked/worked extensively with several of them): LEADERSHIP. Several of the bigger outfits are older and well established. They have leadership at the top that are unwilling/unable to change. They still see themselves as big and able to get stuff done on their own instead of working with other outfits REGULARLY.

I wrote a directive for my former outfit clearly outlining how at least during regular scheduled ops there will always be one person communicating and coordinating with command chat. On the surface everyone agreed, but nobody actually did it. Why? Because that is not how they had done it for so long. OPS leaders were set in their ways. It was their ops. Command chat was chaotic. The extra noise interfered with other noise. Etc, etc, etc.

Until the mindset of leadership changes the NC will still be uncoordinated and ineffective. Some of us have tried, and at times it's worked. But it has to be consistent and it has to come from the top down, not from somewhere in the middle reaching, desperately trying to make the changes.

The other night I was actually on command chat for the first time in quite awhile. There were some great guys (Hats off to TAS, one of your newer guys was there doing a FANTASTIC job working alongside TG) but these were guys I didn't know, despite being a veteran NC. This was after prime time. We need these kinds on during primetime if we are ever going to see consistent results.

Just my two cents.

So now that you've switched to TR to help balance things out I would appreciate if you would tell your guys that they're to shoot VS and not just wear red to make it looked balanced.

Seriously, I was fighting (I think at Quartz Ridge) the other night and I saw TR and VS standing side by side shooting at NC. I knew it has to be an outfit faction hopping, but now I get it. Your guys don't want to give up their toys they worked to acquire , so they're staying VS but fighting with the TR.
