The Tr doesn't need a damage nerf, and the NC doesn't really... NEED a recoil buff.. even though my compensator seems worthless on my carbine. I think since the TR want to complain about how our damage is so high and their fire rate is their legion's strong point then that should be the only difference. There's no reason why when I switch to TR just to test it out, I can hit a person with every single round leaving my barrel.. It's a high fire-rate carbine, not a mounted LMG so it needs to act like a hand-held weapon with a high fire rate. It needs something called RECOIL, it needs something called SPREAD. The vanu are fine because in my eyes it's more than zero bullet drop with them, it's accuracy also, so the VS having .1-.3 recoil is cool with me. But no way in hell should NC have .45-.55 recoil when TR has the same as VS. No Way.
100% agree with this. TR weapons have been broken strong since launch. NC players are leaving in droves. This game is currently 2 factions getting free certs from a 3rd.
NC is still according to the survey the most played Faction by a pretty hefty margin. This alone is going to make more people think that faction is under powered since there are more players playing it. If the faction numbers were balanced i reckon we would see equal amounts of Complaints from each faction.
A lot of lone wolf types might jump from faction to faction in frustration but if you play in a strong, coordinated outfit the NC is the business. Take the DevilDogs on Connery for instance. They kick butt and take names...and once they have those names, they find where you live, show up at your front door and kick your butt all over again...and then just to add insult to injury they tell on you to your Mom.
Why would we see complaints from a faction that's completely dominating anything infantry? True that TR's armor lacks what NC has, but that's really how it's supposed to be. That's why you can shoot two shells before reloading where-as we and VS shoot one. There's no reason why the TR needs less recoil than NC when your fire rates are so high. That's makes no sense.. sure, our bullet calibers may be larger, creating higher recoil per round, but I can go on TR and test it (on people) from 10, 50, and over 100 meters away and I can almost not pull down on my mouse at all. Where as with the NC's GD7 which is a high fire-rate, low damage weapon, I still get the recoil of a freaking unmounted heavy machine gun. Like I said NC's .45-.55 recoil vs. TR's .1-.3 recoil? No reason for it.
To be honest, that's quite the difference from the other two, to make it believable which is why I asked pool size. Looks like 70% NC, 20% VS and 10% TR, not very accurate to be honest.
This poll is not representable for the ingame population in any shape or form. Please look into how to interpret statistics before deciding to use them as a weapon.
If 1 side has more players there is a higher count of people who are likely to open a ticket or complain. If on average 1 in 5 people complain from each faction then statistically according to the survey there will be more complaints from the NC. The same way we will statistically see the least complaints from the TR. Id you have more people playing a faction that means they have more players who may think the faction is underpowered or just say it is when ever they can to try and get a buff etc. This is not an exact science thought Not using them as a weapon saying they are definitive. I simply said accoridng to the survey the majority are TR. Some one asked for the survey i saw this one and i showed them it. Apologies if you took it the wrong way or it came across as me using it against you in any way.
TR and Vanu have the same recoil? In which game? I've characters in both factions and there's a huge difference between those weapons.
The surveys relay that because of how many NC are on sites and forums whining, luckily for us we have in game stats and all the factions are pretty balanced population wise. Thing is NC is attracting a huge number of newer players (The whole freedom thing and bulky armor?) meanwhile most of the organized outfits and more skilled players are bailing for other factions making the situation even worse.
Then you're simply using one of the weapons that have .1 recoil on one faction and switch to the other faction and use a gun that has maybe 2.5 recoil.. you cannot just switch factions, switch a weapon and compare both factions from those two weapons. You have to compare the weapons that are sharing the same uses such as long distance carbine, battle rifles, sniper rifles, scout rifles, and lmgs with the "same" gun from a different faction. That's like comparing the NC's GD7 with their own AC-X11.
