As a member, every day is double XP weekend. The regular pubs are getting at least 30% boosts at almost all hours with off-peak and peak non-Indar rewards regularly hitting %50 at staying there. Our population is STILL falling. The passive XP system has failed to stop the bleed off. Implementing a paid server transfer system will make this all go to ****, please please PLEASE do not turn to a paid server transfer system thinking that it will solve these problems. The original problem started with the Jaeger/Waterson server merge and it has since then snowballed. New players DO NOT CARE about the XP boosts and are signing up for the factions with playable levels of population. I miss fighting on Amerish. I miss not having to constantly bring up the Esamir map when playing on Indar to make sure that we aren't about to get ninja-gated. I miss seeing our population above the 26% mark. Waterson VS needs an ACTIVE population fix, probably in the form of incentivized server transfers from over-populated to under-populated servers.
Change some of there appearances to be more spec opish/special forces. Nothing get population faster then factions then a high tech special forces theme
I like not being easy mode like the other two factions. Best part is when VS wins, it's a shame for who they beat with the uneven numbers. But when VS loses, it's like, ok, great, you beat the underdog faction with your giant zerg. Really nobody can ever truly win against us.
you can't just even out the vs population by force lol ppl chose a server and they chose a faction, they are entitled to stay with what they chose
You -can- make the faction look more attractive, though. Other factions get rock 'n roll or patriotic halo music. VS got.. Brian Eno. They couldn't even throw the poor VS some 90s trance. And then there's the costumes... the NC look like football players with guns, the TR look like actual soldiers, and a VS zerg looks like a fetish convention. I get the sleek and sexy idea, but people come here to play a war game, not femme fatale. My as well give VS infils hooker boots and latex corsets. I'm sure that'd attract more players. Weapon sounds... fwipfwipfwip. No thanks. There's no tank-mounted AI weapon that fires in a constant stream and sounds like a bass cannon? TR and NC maxes look like bulky murder machines. VS got a mob from some Korean FTP mmo. I miss the Samus Aran armor.
We got the (g)Lancer. TR got the Striker. NC got the Phoenix. Striker = ground + air superiority Phoenix = ground superiority (esp. against sundies) Lancer is a crappier AV Mana Turret
