The Only Way To Bring NC/TR to Vanu Level Dominance.

The only way its going to work is if a lot of us join Vanu. I know that sounds contrary but Ask yourselves whats easier to tilt something back that is already leaning heavily in the other direction? Or to tilt it even further into the direction its in and completely break the balance... forcing SOE to add more balance.

I have been ad-hearing to this strategy lately And my main is NC, but lately I have been Running Vanu and I hit NC as Hard As I can. I call apon all TR and NC to do the same.

Now I don't think its all about weapon balance. There are a good amount of Vanu Outfits. But Alot of the reason outfits find their way to the Vanu is the History of the Weapon capabilities. "Scythe" "PPA" "Magrider"
One could argue that the NC has the max. etc etc.... BUt undoubtedly Vanu has more appeal than the other two factions. Part of it is psychology, and part of it has to do with weapon balance.

Whatever the reason, it just isn't right. Now I'm not suggesting that SOE do only buffs to nc/tr. What I am suggesting is Buff one area, and nerf another if necessary. Like the reaver needs a huge buff for 1v1 dogfights.

Some will say why does a reaver need to be able to do good 1v1. Well it is not only fair but things like this play a psychological role on determining what side you fight for.

So I call apon all NC/TR to switch to VS. Outfit leaders you can convince pepole its like being a spy its thinkg of the highest meta which is getting SOE to make a change.

... so your solution to a minor imbalance that is mostly due to the organization of VS (on emerald anyways) is to make it even worse so that a faction gets nerfed into the ground to the point it is unplayable...

I have no proof of anything. I just let myself get farmed a bunch of times and I want my faction buffed. Oh and buff another random faction too so it doesn't seem as selfish

smh... my faction looses so the faction they loose to must be over powered. good mentality to have.

I've pretty much switched to Vanu as well. My NC character is alive and well, so I can go back to him at any time, if SOE decides to fix this game's balance situation, or if the NC players (whoever's left) decides to get their act together. Assuming that doesn't happen, the Vanu is just easier. Better equipment (especially the MAX unit), more organized factions, etc

Might as well go whole hog and play an HA driving a PPA-equipped Magrider while rolling on Goku's coattails.

I may or may not believe that VS is overpowered but I support the thought behind this idea. If people want to get someone's attention they need to do something that cannot be ignored. If TR & NC populations started dwindling to nothing while VS just got more & more overpopulated SOE would not be able to ignore that. If you want to get something done you have to do something.

You can't really 'fix' something that isn't broken, and peoples 'choices' is based on free will. Choosing which faction you want to take part in cannot be manipulated or denied by the developers. Its pretty much why there is no absolute solution that could be implemented for 'overpopulation' because the devs can't just deny you of your choice while you play their game.

This 'reverse-boycott' concept isn't much of a good idea as you make it out to be..

u know if all nc and all tr join vs than the stats will show that the quality of the vs player drop

many sheeps can feed many wolves but if u have only one sheep than the wolves get hungry
if the vs has too many player they will not find enemys and the stats go down
not to mention new vs player cant get the good stuff because there arent enough enemys to kill what drop the stats even more

on the other hand the chances to find enemys for nc/tr will rise so the stats rise as well
not to mention there are many new and easy to kill noobs in vs than what rise the stats even more

nc/tr will get a nerf and vs a buff that way

Listen VS dominate when we are forced to invoke "Team play" . Team play is a unique faction trait for the VS and it's centered around a constant influx of terrible weapons and nerfs that make us form into bands of 12 or more. For example take the Lancer alone it is a terrible terrible joke but in large groups it's hilarious. The lasher can't 1v1 with a Lasher that is asinine but in groups of 4 it is hilarious.

VS scientists are still working on a way to make Team Play matter for the Spiker but admittedly this may be beyond current R&D capabilities.

Another area is vehicles ..Magriders alone are just a few rockets away from complete annihilation, but invoke Teamplay and suddenly that changes. Scythes are the best thing to happen to a Burster max or lock-on from the ground they GI-NORMOUS. But team play divides that damage among many and makes it survivable.

The NC and TR aside from a precious few outfits don't seem to work to well together because they are rebels and communists so they are big into Rambozo-ing into crowds of combined fire. Which of course is HILARIOUS!

As a proud NC, these posts really need to stop. Good thing you're probably a pub, or else this would be really embarassing.

As the weeks go by, the VS get more and more boastful, the day when the VS get pummeled, will be the day when the faction will dwindle. I care not for what they do or even make emphasis on it, for the higher one climbs, the harder the fall.

Posts formed by people like this do really need to stop, its toxic for everyone regardless of faction.

Not to mention that they are focused on one server, as this is where the whole game is revolving around.

Its just toxic in general, this 'hatred' can spread into the west US servers too. Complaining about it does little to help but boast those who seem to be the cause, but as such that can be a weakness as well as eventually it flips and the roles reverse. That's "if" no one leaves out of rage.

Its not just one faction that is capable of this, and it 'can' spread out, could be some ideology of some kind that is found in Americans, but such problems could be found in other servers as well, however more different.
