The ONLY reason zerg outfits cannot be beaten

    Render Distance.
All other bugs and balance issues aside, this is the only reason GOON and The Enclave can win most battles on Matherson. TE abuses this problem relentlessly in Bio Labs. (They also did it before Tech-plants were nerfed.) Piles up all their troops just beyond the dome openings and farm. Why? Because rockets/Libs/snipers cannot render them beyond 10-20 meters due to their sheer numbers in a tiny area. And so, any resistance has to run right up to the wall of Cycler maxes or swarms of Reavers just to make them appear. And then it's too late.

I can't really fault them for abusing the game mechanics. I fault the game for favoring such tactics without any real way to fight against it. I know the game's draw distance reduces based on the number of players in an area to help with the FPS, but it's getting a bit frustrating. I feel really bad for Infiltrators. Most of their weapons are useless in these fights when they could be turning the tides by sniping the engys.

I suspect that once this horrible render-draw problem is fixed, I will no longer look at the zerg outift in disgust, but welcome the chance to fight a huge battle against them.

Its fun watching these clowns on twitch.tv order each other around.

I get a good laugh out of them when they talk trash in /yell after taking over an objective that they had a 200:20 numbers advantage.

I get an even better laugh when they complain a single liberator has 50 of them camped in at a base and they need to be told to redeploy somewhere else.

Farming these tools is amazing but as stated, it'd be nice if more of them rendered properly to increase my killing sprees tat much more. My outfit gets a real shot of joy every time we find out TE are forming platoons for ops.

I am in the Enclave and I will give you a pass for being so blindly ignorant and calling the Enclaves ops a "zerg". We do have zerg numbers and sometimes up to 12 squads or more of people fighting under BuzzCutPsycho but we never zerg except for a few occasions for DEFENSE or to mass drop pod on to a cap point.

Actually, most of the time, each squad will go to a different base to cap and once capped we will either converge on to a hot spot to help sway the tide of battle or we will load up galaxies and do another drop taking another 5 bases with each squad having their own role. That is not a "zerg" by any means and I think you should educate yourself before you post nonsense on these forums and give people the wrong ideas about the Enclave and how they operate.

The reason so many people stay with the Enclave is BECAUSE WE DON'T ZERG, everything is organised, our squads have a strict make-up of engineer's medic's and HA's. Again, you confuse numbers with "zerging" and just because we have mass numbers doesn't mean we are "zerging" the map at all times because like I said the only times we all get together is for defending a base that is getting zerged by NC or VS or for helping the TR public players cap a heavily fought for base.

Funny because when ever we see your outfits tag it's more like a steam-roll then you farming us but please, tell us some more dreams you had.

I hope you guys realize it is obvious you don't "love" farming us because if you did why would you be so upset and have so much hate for the Enclave if we just feed your stats like you say? We also rarely have ops with over 150 people so I don't see how that is even a Zerg

    TLDR:
-150 people in a coordinated ops is a zerg? Sense when?
    -We do not zerg
-Each squad usually does their own base caps and we split up
-Only time we all go somewhere together is to defend an enemy zerg or take a base that is heavily defended
-If the Enclave was just a zerg no one would see a point in being in the outfit when they could just follow a public zerg everywhere.
-I don't know ab9out GOON and how they operate.

So, yeah, basically sending 48 people on a single place is automatically an "abuse"...

    This is... huh... I mean...
Thread so stupid I lost my words. Here is a potato

    Whoa.

Sounds like you just had your buttons pushed.

I think there's something wrong with your computer specs--look at the ram MHz. ;)
  9. Rothnang

The reason why Zergs win is because you get a better reward for just getting out of the way than for trying to stop them. Once your faction is losing a lot of ground on a continent the pop numbers usually just enter free fall as more and more people abandon the continent to fight somewhere else where they won't run out of resources and aren't outnumbered.

I play Vanu on Waterson amd have watched a few videos of Enclave and their streams.
They dont zerg, they are actually organized and wish I have an outfit on Waterson like that but hate the way they talk XD

ALSO I do agree with the render distance, if i could see more people would mean I would get alot more kills too
  11. Solvite

I was under the impression that people don't like The Enclave because you troll everyone on reddit, you support bigotish ideas on your website, and your leader is extremely offensive.

I don't have an opinion, I play on Waterson, but don't do the whole "you are just jealous" routine.
  12. Flarestar

The Enclave is highly organized. Sadly, they do pretty poorly against equal sized forces, primarily due to their inability to stop trash talking in yell long enough to shoot at people. It's kinda funny from the other side of the fence.
  13. Nekky

Yep, I have noticed that a lot of people just redeploy somewhere else instead of fighting vs the mass numbers. We usually stay until the spawncamping starts and then fall back to the next base in line to be steamrolled to prep it for an assault. I don't mind facing those number, just more to kill and I almost always come out ahead.
  14. Trysaeder

Nobody bag zergfits! They're a terrific source of 150KPM.
  15. CoffeeBreak

It's not that they zerg, it's that they attack and tons of other TR join in on assaults.

If you're going to complain about anything on Mattherson it should be the 5-20man NC aimbot squads that have appeared over the last few weeks. Bunch of people with random letter or extremely complicated names, that are all lower BR that have perfect aim, esp, and can shoot through walls.

I don't mind them anymore because I focus mainly on VS v TR fights now.
  16. Nekky

Funny thing is, it's always the worst ones that talk the most trash. People that can actually play aren't the ones that feel the need to make themselves look better by using the Outfits accomplishments as their own.

It's the scrub with the .2 k/d yelling YEA **** MY BASE!

I made sense of your argument just fine. You went into a long diatribe of how organized your outfit is and how you don't use plain zerg tactics. The sheer fact of how long you felt the need to go on about how tactical your group plays is what made me realize you were taking this way too seriously.

Also, what kids are you speaking to anyway? The majority of PC gamers are over the age of 18.
  18. quicKsanD

The reason zerg outfits cannot be beaten is because the bases are indefensible. The spawn locations are bad, the generator locations are bad, there are too many ways into the base. I could go on but there is no point. Smaller forces should be able to defend bases against larger ones, it is the whole point to being "dug in" how PS2 does not follow this practical military tradition.

Nah I'm on Matherson too, and I know these guys a bit. They are just zergers and below average players, nothing to be afraid of. The only scary thing about them is how they will use every OP thing of the moment to play like spamming grenade launchers pre nerf and now spamming dalton/rocket pods. At least their pilots are pretty bad and get owned by maxes all day. In the end, they can easily be beaten with a good defensive position in which you only have to hold a bit until they just give up.

As for cheating I saw what real rendering cheating was in Guild Wars 2 where people would literally stand on top of each other and move as one to abuse rendering and this is not. It's simply Russian tactic of sending more targets at the same time than you got ammos for them, it's legit when you got numbers without much skills.

Or BuzzCutPsycho himself, fairly often. I take great pleasure in repeatedly killing him while his six-pack of pocket Medics revive him over and over. Used to be fun to briefly tune into his stream just to listen to him rage and accuse everyone of hacking.
