THE NEW SOE ALL ACCESS PLAN & FAQ

14.99 dollars is currently 9.08 pounds, at the moment i pay for my mebership every month 8.99 as i wanted to support soe and the game so i paid monthly and paid a little more instead of 3 6 or 12 monthly.
And i appreciate soe giving me a whole lot more extra content for the same money, who knows maybe in x years i might take a look at something else.

@amm0-rat.it`s just like world of tanks.when you by premium time on tanks you have it on planes and when warships comes out it will apply to that as well.don`t play planes but do play tanks from time to time.

Question: What's going to happen with the pre-paid game cards? During December Gamestop had a $15 card for $10 (or something similar) so I pretty much bought the next year's worth of game-cards from the sale. Will the game-cards give ultimate access or continue providing the PS2-only benefits?

Well this certainly works out great. On or about April 2nd I'll get my income tax return and have more time for PS2. Haven't had a Premium account since last Aug nor time to play much since then.

We will offer PlanetSide 1 as free to play game for everyone when the new program rolls out, on or about April 2, 2014 (or sooner!). Please note that PS1 has no Marketplace and will not see further game development. We know that a large number of people have played it in the past, and we hope you’ll enjoy it again, on us.

As the game is still in alpha no details on EQ:N/EQ:NL have been released as of now. When we have details, we will provide them to you all.

We recognize that this is an added step for you, but we’re working hard to make it really easy. We want to encourage players to log in more, play our games more, and spend the SC that they’ve been granted!

All access means all access to all games with a few exceptions: wizardry is one, and doesn’t include FR or CWA. You will get access to VG until the game sunsets. Additionally as EQ:N/EQ:NL are still in alpha we have no details on all access as of now. When we have details, we will provide them to you all.

These options will grant you thirty days of SOE All Access membership AND award the ability to claim 500 SC monthly, plus all of the other benefits of membership.

Do your other games work as well as this one?

I for one am rather pleased with the upcoming account changes. I wanted to become a all access member but now i will and at a reduced fee

This is stated in the FAQ.

All of our other games have dedicated teams that do their best to make the games as fun as possible. Feel free to check out their forums. They all have very welcoming communities.

Not sure if this was asked before but what about those of us who signed up for the special 30 dollars every 3 months event back when we had that one loyalty event (I forget the exact name of it, its the one where we got the loyal warrior cammo). Will we be given the all access account or will it just work for PS2 or will that special rate be removed?

All I am saying is how hard could it be to give your account a credit each month to either claim 500 SC that rolls over or 2000 SC token that must be used within the month.

The "credit" I mentioned is not seen client side, all you see when you log in is claim 500 SC or claim token.

They are exactly the two plans given as options to us by SOE.
SOE decided based on our feedback to stick with the SC and a little discount.
This made some happy, some got pissed off.

With my plan everyone is happy.

Well. I got an e-mail back in January explaining the original plan to replace the 500 SC with the ability to pick a 2000 SC value item each month in each game. Since I was already an All Access member, I thought that was great.

Out of the offers, I only play two games, PS and EQ2, and those only one at a time. Currently my PS2 characters are resting while I play EQ2 again. Really, I don't understand how a person can have a job, a family, and have time to play more than one such game.

Nevertheless, for me, 2 games x 2000 SC value per month = 4000 SC worth of stuff, versus 500 SC worth of stuff. A FACTOR OF EIGHT IMPROVEMENT. For anyone having the time to play more games, even more free in-game stuff.

I want to thank (not) all the whiners on these and other forums who thought that was a bad deal, who griped until SOE not only took it back but even changed it to something worse than what we have now. Until now, if you had a subscription but took a break from playing, at least your 500 SC stacked up in your absence. Now, you just lose it.

Instead of more free stuff, we now get more games added to the list of additional games I don't have time to play anyway.

I'm not sure if I understand the upcoming changes correctly, but my current running PS2 subscription will switch over to an All-Access-Plan subscription correct?

Hi guys for me this sounds like a load of garbage. You get 500 station cash now anyway, but now u have to claim it every month. Plus you get offers every month anyway so whats the point. Like I said before 1000 cash every month and you can spend it on anything and not just one item plus any that you dont use can carry over. To me we are not getting any thing extra. Derek

Having to claim the 500SC manually? What happens if we miss it one month, can we collect 1000SC the next month?

I'm guessing you won't let us, that's pretty lame guys. Keep it automatic.

Make a game worth paying $15 a month and this will matter to me.

Why did they not mention that in the OP? That's like, the biggest thing to take away from this.
