The NC/VS cease-fire on Connery is getting old.

I suppose this is why NC had all three of the major bases in the vicinity of the VS warp gate on Indar? The alliance is so complete that they even pool their resources so it does not even matter who holds the bases.

That, @akajefe, is certainly the counterfactual to there being a formal alliance. However, it's clear (and spies report -- especially NC spies who /yell the details during battles) that there's collusion to break the cap.

Plus, it's only really when the VS are down to around 20-22% that they get backed down into the hell hole that is the southeast. Or when they're solely focused on taking Scarred Mesa Skydock, you know, for some unknown reason, because that's such an important territory to control ...

It was fun, the only thing I disliked was the hoards of Mosquitos.

On Indar, meanwhile we're getting our ***** kicked on Esamir and Amerish.
THis whole excuse of one continent favoured over another doesn't wash.
The VS and NC are beating us with skillz and teamwork, while the TR lose one clash and run away. If Indar wasn't so popular, they'd be running away from that continent as well.

So the TR have no skillz because the TR (and pretty much every faction) prefers Indar?

Ok then, but the real issues with no one playing on the other two continents is server pop I think. The entire active population of Connery can pretty much fit into Indar. It also is the first Cont. to show up on the UI which gives it a bias. If we want more fights on the other continents we need a reason to go somewhere other than the "default" continent such as Cont. lock.

Vanu being 20% of the population and there is still some piece of **** killing us from under the ground. Really?

It's not bad enough that VS can barely muster up one battle and people still cheat against them?

Just had our sunderer blown up by some TR piece of **** inside of a tree. Well there goes your battle guys, we only had enough people for one fight.

It's time to remove one faction, **** it. Just let us select one of the other factions. We don't need three factions.

Not all servers are created equally, please remember that, at least add a "on ____ server" to it.

The original post specifies Connery but the problem persists on other servers as well and as this isn't a server specific forum a thread is permitted to expand its coverage.

Why is this even a problem? Two factions have decided to fight together against the third. So what?

The only problem I see is, for some reason, many TR believe the alliance lasted for longer than a handful of hours on the one day.

Most only last a few hours but I've seen some last 6+ hours, and if this kind of thing is going to be allowed on a regular basis then the population bonuses need to go out the door or those groups just need to merge to one of the two factions into one outfit and team play that way.

Edit: In my opinion at least. It seems that without one or the other of those two solutions it's exploiting the bonuses in a sense.

And this is why I'm glad I'm on Miller, where much of the trash talking in the outfit recruitment forum is about how TR and NC are going to **** the VS up but, once they're in game, they're more than happy to unleash red and blue hell respectively upon one another.
