The Hacking/Lag is Bad (fed up)

I play this game for nearly 3 years. I am noticing some idiots with permanent every day score around 150-200 kills in an hour. KDR always 5+. No matter the day, the battle, ( winning or losing does not matter ) or continent - no vehicle play. Only LMG ( Betlegeuce to be exact). This is not possible. I am checking specially one player for 10 days..every day nearly same results. Some crap aim prediction or something similar must be used.

I've seen you, or at least someone post the exact same story before. I think this is my third time reading the same thing, word for word. If there is such a major bug, and your friend showed it to you, why the hell did you not perform it on camera, censor your username, and send it to Daybreak? Or post it on Reddit or here in the forumside?

Just as a side note to this, I assume that you are the same CptLegshot posting on UnknownCheats forums? I missed it but thought the name sounded familiar. Yes that's me with 8 posts and -14 reputation, that's why i know there's nothing more than a simple lagswitch available for free. All the free aimbots, esp and so on have been outdated/detected for a long time. Can't say much about paid hacks, i guess some of them still work and might be getting updates but i have no idea where you saw those "3000 unique downloads in a day" and all the cheating related ps2 forums/sections are pretty much dead.

Was just curious as to why you have 3 downloads? Just testing to see whether they actually work or not? lol.

UC, Aimjunkies, X22 and so on I don't check often tbh. Free sites are more desperation than they are productive most of the time and they literally are as easy as a 1 second google search (too dumb and easy to find imo to be safe). That said a few people have got lucky on them over the years - The lagswitch works now obviously, as does the hitbox modifier text posted on one of the other forums as a work around to daybreaks 'fix'.

The 3000+ Came from HagsClub VIP which is recently updated to 'undetected', why they wont update the general membership offering escapes me, beyond it not being worth overexposure and thus being blocked again. Support for PS2 has plummeted since the construction update, so not much surprise to see the freebies go out of commission I suppose. It lends more credibility to those high BR's using sophisticated paid hacks however, why use anything else if you have a valuable account to lose? There are a few cases of well known streamers being caught out on ps2, so it happens and people should be aware of it.

You need membership to view many of the private websites and forums or I would have just linked them here as well. I've seen various people asking me to screenshot and post but as I have but 1 warning remaining before permaban for doing that, I thought id avoid doing so anymore Seems some have read my concerns about cheating (and thus posting on it) to be equal to encouraging people to do it, which isn't the case at all.

I'd rather people just started rooting out the problem instead of doing what I really think encourages it - the upfront denial of it happening at all. It isn't as bad now as it was but, it has made people question a lot of those being so touchy about it. Seems odd to only post in cheat threads, with a view to shut them down asap - unless you have something to hide (imo).

In any event, I hope that waking people up to all of the issues (even if I have quit aqain after only some weeks) serves as an opportunity for those playing to gain an education on what has (or is) been available in the past and what to look for. Not everything is a hack but certainly, not every person with an ungodly KD and survival rate is legit either. To have something of value, these things need to be investigated, dealt with/hit head on. Not left to run rampant with 20 alt characters like our man UnitedKingdomSpecialForces, who doesn't even try to hide the fact he uses a scripted aimbot (doesnt even name his characters different things for that matter lol).

And on that note, I am now popping corns.

Also, I'm kind of wondering how often DBG moles into the cheat sites to get their code. It would seem like an efficient use of resources to me.

This game has been riddled with idiotic hackers who have destroyed a great online shooter for allot of ppl including myself, I cant see myself playing this game much longer after the experiences I've had recently. I've had my fill.

Dls were made back when i played csgo for a bunnyhop "cheat" if you can even call it a cheat, more of a convenience thing since you can achieve the same effect by binding jump to mouse wheel, i wouldn't risk a 4k hour playtime account.
Sure there are real cheaters but most accusations posted in this forum are without any proof - no videos or anything and almost always by some guy with sub-0.5 k/d who simply was outplayed and can't deal with it. Seeing such baseless accusations every day gets old really quick.
Every somewhat popular fps has hacks and there's no way to get rid of them, making a game pay to play somewhat decreases the problem but not fully.

No I dont think that ones private perse its just a case of trying to find it again. It was one of my random google searches of 'Planetside 2 cheats' and thats about as generic as it comes. I'm trying to find it again problem is keywords dont seem to find the actual pages on those forums and some of the threads are really really long (mostly with people saying ''please please I cant play without a cheat!'' lol.. you know how they are over there).

I never suggested that I disagreed with the ridiculousness of the 0.5 try hards with the blame everyone but me mentality. My vanguard gunner (who was a fairly poor shot bless her) nailed an infiltrator in stealth virtually by accident and he called hacks immediately (even though he was BR 102) - so yes, I know what its like.

But im also aware people in this game have used that potential as a smoke screen. Hiding the fact they cheat behind a very easy 'get gut mate' rhetoric. Truth is you'll never be good as everyone but certainly never as good as those boasting while using their cheats.

Fortunately for me, morons like UKSF have done most of the work for me. I actually love the concept of this game and only stopped because my original gaming PC virtually blew up on me (and the replacement could barely handle ordinary mmo's let alone planetside.) I was looking forward to coming back now that isnt the case but low pops and a few obvious aim abusers put stop to that before it really began.

I dont want the devs to put in the work trying to turn this game around, just for newbies coming it to be farmed by illegitimate players. And that coming from someone who put up with this game when the population was high and the weapons of old (Like ZoE and PPA) were still a spammable god mode.

The devs could do a lot to help the scenario by addressing it publically. Be that the UKSF reddit threads or other things of this nature. If it wasnt my hope that they would - and sort those things for the betterment of the game, I never would have begun posting.

All one has to do is google hagsclub and you can see videos of the cheaters in action. Today im in my scythe, and i see a mosquito shooting something on the ground. So of course i come in quietly behind and open fire.

Instantly the mosquito was 100 meters away, and i live in the country with DSL, and lately since last patch ive been freezing up, so im like, OK, and i start shooting at the skeeter again.

Again the thing warps ahead and now its 200 meters away, and im definitely not freezing. Then he turns around and starts shooting at me. I'm in a scythe at 200 meters or more ascending and descending like crazy and he missed not one shot. I died.

I sent him a message, letting him know i was reporting for aim bot and teleport hack. He didnt respond.

So i got another plane and went out and there he is again, shooting something on the ground. This time i shot him, he warped away, then turned and flew at full speed past me, nailing me with a pair of hornets on the way by. Then he warped away and turned and shot me down witht he nosegun without missing a bullet.

I reported him for the aimbot the second time, cause it only lets you pick one.

Name was Karen06542 or some such number. After the second time i didnt see him again although i also didnt see a ban message if they still have those.

Its very difficult to cheat in an aircraft. The best pilots in the game arent hitting a scythe ascending and descenind at 200 meters with every bullet. But on the ground. Its very hard to tell. Snipers constantly headshot me a second after i pop out of stealth. I pop to shoot someone and before ive gotten 3 rounds off im dead. Not sitting in one place or anything. I always move after a kill. Always hiding behind things and just barely poking my head up to get line of sight.

I see a lot of players who get all headshots from 200 meters with gauss saw. If you ever used one you would know thats not possible without cheating.

Lately i have been using stalker cloak a lot and yesterday i watched this heavy who kept killing me as i tried to sneak up on him. I got up high and just watched as he always knew exactly where the enemy was and he easily dispatched anyone who came close.

I sent him a tell. "I see you are using ESP". Didnt see him after that.

Lot of cheating, making the game way less fun. There is no reason to try to compete when so many people are cheating blatently.

Edit: just wanted to add that i looked for motion spotters and such with the heavy who was using ESP. There was no sensor darts or spotters in the area. Oops meant to put that at the end not copy the whole thing.

I had a dilemma for a few minutes. Couldn't decide between $100 in WoT gold or $100 in DBC to trick out more of my vehicles.

I ended up spending it in WoT simply because of the hacking in this game and their severe lack of effort to police this game.

I pretty much have everything I need and I am subscribed simply to support this game and the developers. But after my term is up, I'm stopping and going free-to-play until they get their crap together. It's been too long with ZERO progress. I mean how long has this game been out? It's actually pathetic and I honestly can't expect anyone to financially support this game until they return the favor in kind.

I will say this, the hackers have moved beyond any existing method to detect them. DB needs to evolve and do something to detect them. Put in battleye.

it would be so easy to fix this cheating... set a maxping level, lets say 200ms and have a faction switch delay for 24h.

all lag switcher would get auto kicked from the server and no more lvl 1 alts sabotage the own team by blowing up sundi and ****.

but not.. as long as ppl are still in denial of the cheater problem and still buy ****.. no reason to do anything at all..

its way easier to call ppl who complain about cheater "salty" its always funny to see how much ingame chat support a cheater gets, once he is called out.

best argument: every one he kills him is a cheater.. blabla... but oddly its always the same people who draw attention with suspicious behavior.

On Milller and Cobald, ex-EU now Russian Server, its almost 90% of them russian who are lag switching, see you behind walls and headshot you with pistol over miles. you can also shoot them with claw or bruiser in the back, 3-4 times. then they turn around and instant kill you... you are mostly dead before you got even shot at...

i dont even use nano armor anymore, cause its total useless.. you are either alive or instant dead, there is no between anymore..

i mean comeone, the only reason they restart the server is to prevent the report counter to cause a buffer overflow error.. last month on miller there were more then 50.000 reports when they restarted the server...

It's unusual to see it with vehicle players, but it does occur. But it's much easier to notice when tanks make impossible shots, for instance. You can chalk some up to luck and skill but I'd say once every other week I run across someone who is bad with movement and techinque but never misses.

Stop giving money to DB until they solve all the hacking issues.
