the game need Frago objective thats give extra XP bonus whithin a certain range !

    I've actually seen this squad leader bonus somewhere - was it BF3? At least if someone of your squad followed your orders, you got extra XP for it. I still think Planetside 2 is missing this feature as well. I was kinda baffled to see no reward for squad play when I first started. (Other than, well... playing in a squad, that most of the time feels like running in a zerg anyways, if its public)

    And I have to say: kudos for a relevant idea, that does not include nerf or anything, from you, stew360. *thumbsup*

    This is, in my opinion, one of the most important features that the game is missing right now. It would make the game so much fun, encouraging teamplay and random players joining forces into squads ... it would also reduce spawn camping ( people will be defending capture points because it would be worth it)... I don't know why is it taking so long to implement... it seems so obvious... I hope it comes soon...

    Oh come on... Squad max reps, squad vehicle reps, squad revives, squad spot, squad resupply, squad heal, squad spawn...
    Only thing is missing squad assist.
    Squad teamplay is and was decently rewarded, just nobody appreciates it.

    Great idea Stew. Most of what I'd add to this has been discussed already however about this
    I think that Planetside 2 needs more voice commands in general. Planetside had a voice command for any need, (hacker, engineer, anti-tank, etc.) command, (attack/defend/repair/hack spawntubes/command-console/equipment-terminals) notification, (enemy cloaker/soldier/max/vehicle) and general chit-chat. (hail/thanks/anytime/fabulous)
    It was simply much more robust and I'd like to see that return in Planetside 2.

    Well, you are right, all of those are in. But actually, they don't really improve teamwork. An engineer is rewarded for repairing his squad mates vehicle/max. But his squad mate doesn't care, as long as he has an engineer. So he takes every one, or drives off even without you. And instead of running after them, you just choose something else, as theres lots to do anyways.
    Same goes for squad revives. This helps the medic, so he tries to stay close. Unless he gets killed all the time without another medic, or all of the squad run in different directions.
    Squad spot was neglectable up to a few days ago. And even now its like playing the lottery if you get a bonus or not.
    For spawning, basically you just don't care, as you can't control if people spawn at your point (they don't care about this), same goes for healing and resupply.

    As you can see, this all helps the support class, if they stay close. They get the double amount of XP. But usually people tend to run/drive off, so more XP is made by tending to other people being close.

    To cut the stuff short: there is no goal for a squad that is unifying. Nothing EVERYONE of that squad strives for. Nothing that brings squad members together as a whole.

    And thats were order bonuses should jump it: follow a base capture? Get more XP. Blow that generator your leader orders you to? Get XP if you helped.
    Hell, it would even help if you would get XP bonuses for staying close to your squad (+5% to everything for every squadmember in a 100m vicinity?) These would be goals everyone would strive for, leading to people sticking together.

    Has this not already been requested and discused to death way back before and around beta on PSU? The things Stew is listing, doesn't sound new to me, different name maybe, but same concept nontheless

    ive request similar thing back in the day yes , and many peoples could have requested the same , its just needed , no ones ask for NEW

    I ask for improoving the squad lead and squad team work

    MAG is a 3 years old game and Bf2142 is older but both share great squad lead stuff , instead of saying this is not new , you should discuss whats you want to include in it to make the squad lead betters

    Here at 5min14 an exemple of someones using the 2d frago objective he order to repair / defend the AA battery wich is down at this momment and need to be repair and back up while the eng do their job , it will grant extra xp , but you can also set frago in 3d space ex: at 9min50 in the video , exactly like we do in ps2 atm with the Qs button but rith now it only work for capture point A B C

    Frago as to work on

    1: Deployed sunderer ( since its basically a spawn point and not a vehicules anymore) ( ATACK /REPAIR COMAND)
    2: Generator ( all type ) ( ATACK / REPAIR / DEFEND )
    3: base defense ( ATACK/REPAIR )
    4: SCU ( ATACK / REPAIR /DEFEND )
    5: Everything that players can capture , or destroy exept tanks and smalls vehicules aircraft and so on we already have spotting for that purpose , we need an , atack , destroy , capture , defend , repair FRAGO comands

    Just want to ad this

    We need a way to put up squad waypoint in 3d space a point anc click in 3d space whiout having to open up the map or use the minimap options , is a must as well , having the 2d and 3d options is required for frago and for waypoint as well like you can do in mag

    Are you interested in getting better squad leadership options , squad bonus to make sure peoples play better ? And new players can understand and follow orders whiout feeling lost ?

    But also rewarding players effort on specific objective ?

    This is what i ask for so i would like you to explain whats you mean by that ;)

    this is actually the missions sythem , but we still need something intuitive that we can trigger on the fly exactly like MAG on ps3 does brillantly :) missions sythem will be pretty sweet , but we need to have great 3d space and 2d maps options to set our frago
