The game desperatley needs more space FREE OF VEHICLES

    Thats it. **** vehicles. every small-mid sized infantry battle in a small outpost gets **** on by air or tanks. if its about 20 vs 20, as soon as a lib comes by it just ruins the battle. there are not enough defenders around to focus on infantry AND vehicles at the same time.

    I think what is important to realize in the combined arms sense is that the value of armor is huge versus infantry (especially when using HE rounds) and that the RL counter to this is limits on production and logistics of these assets and simply this is not seen in the game right now. Every base within 500m can spawn a Lightning or MBT to infinity!

    Just add a 'generator' mechanism that depletes over use and regenerates overtime. Or completely revamp the resource mechanic (I'd argue for removing all resources and have a single currency "Auraxium" used for all purchases).

    Yeah I totally agree. I actually went and flew a lib for a few hours and all I could think was how much I'm ruining the infantry fight. But I'm working on my flying because I do it so rarely but man it's too easy. 5 burster max nest doesn't even stop me from strafing repairing, rinse repeating all day long. I am pretty anti air and the more I fly or Dalton/Zephyr the more against it I become.

    I wish, just to get vehicles balanced the way they need to, an outfit would form that uses NOTHING but liberators.

    I'd like to see what happens and how much crying there is when 40 liberators swarm from base to base. Not even your massed bursters could stop 40 liberators with HE rounds and with 40 tail gunners, no fighters would get close enough to do anything to them.

    Why hasn't this been done yet?

    It's just stupid that EVERY PERSON can spawn their own personal vehicle at the same time, with no limit. 100 guys can spawn 100 tanks and roll in one giant unstoppable ball if they choose. Same with any other vehicle.

    I want to see the 40 liberator ownage machine that gets the dev team to rework the way resources and vehicle spawning works.

    I see two obvious and massive flaws with vehicles right now:
    1) Resources are a joke
    2) There is no limit to how many vehicles can be spawned at once. This causes the giant snowball of death.

    The vehicle spam is annoying, perhaps a infantry only continent? If your playing infantry and your not in a large organised outfit doing ops, fighting all the vehicles is just plain NOT FUN.

    They'll never do that.

    The game is marketed as a combined arms game. They would balance/rework the resource system before they caved and made an infantry only continent.

    The entire resource system is a complete failure, which is why we have this problem. Maybe because they reworked it so many times. Anyone remember when it wasn't air/tank/infantry? Beside the names, that made a lot of sense. The current system just encourages ESF/liberator/tank/lightning rotation of spam.

    the problem with vehicles is the base design, there isnt a place were tanks cannot sit up on a hill and farm farm farm!

    Even when there is no tanks present the grenade spam kills any infantry fight that involves cover, it would be nice if fragmentation grenades were as such instead of hand held room nukes.

    Get 5 guys with lock on launchers and make yourself a "free" zone.

    People run from lock-ons It's funny to watch them flee.

    Flee? They popped flares and strafe anyways, then leave and come back. 50 rockets locking onto an air vehicle that had flares does nothing.

    good luck explaining to noobs that lock ons are practical for taking out armour, if even 5 people like you said get a vantage point over armour and co ordinate on the same targets its GG armour column.

    I think he was talkinga bout G2G, where poping out 6 or so coordinated missiles can baiscly one shot a tank, i mean if he was talking G2A he is obviously delusional, but the G2G lockon is fairly decent. Of course coordinating shots is fairly difficult, i sugested taht squad leaders be able to do a special spot that makes the dorito above a single target a different color so you could coordinate things like that but the thread got 0 replies.

    I.. Would be down with that actualy. Though resource incomes are such that unless you are cut off/pushed to your warpgate its unlikely to actualy run out often even like that.

    an infantry only contenent would not do well, no sundies, walking everywere, etc. An infantry favored continent however would not be hard. Massive urban sprawl. Buildings everywere, tall ones, half ruined ones, full fledged skyscrapers all that sort of stuff. windows and overhangs for shooting rockets and droping mines/c4.

    I wholeheartedly agree with this post. Vehicles are a real nuisance to good infantry vs. infantry fights.
