The Combined arms update and an idea to really bring it together

    This combined arms update you guys are doing is generally focused on balance. I want to bring your attention more to getting more people pulling vehicles and actually making them impact the game.

    I am talking about giving bases nanite / cortium resources and having the ant or even other vehicles refill the bases.

    Balance changes are good and all but you have to look at the underlying problems. Do vehicles directly affect a base capture? The answer is yes and no. Yes for small fights but no for large ones. The only thing vehicles can do at the moment, is kill infantry or a sundy in a base to make a real difference (and even this is still relying on someone to actually go to the point, stand on it and hold it); This is super easy in a small fight (maybe even, too easy) and impossible in a large fight.

    You need something for vehicles to do other than shell a spawn room or attack a sundy, I think the resouce system hooked into bases would give them something to do that is extremely meaningful to the capture of the base. Both in escorts / convoys and in attack teams / defenses. It would even tie in the construction system a bit because you could build checkpoints or blockades on the road!
