the change of Indar

    after flying from base to base to have a look at the new Indar i can only see zergs moving there from base to base
    not able to stop them until they meet a other zerg
    the drive by small basses are not holding them back some will drive directly to the next base
    the others will finish up the little resistance in the garage bases
    not being able to prepare in the next base for the invasion

    now if this is what DBG want for Indar, fine but let us benefit from those garages
    let us change our main and top gun of our vehicle in those garages or even the vehicle like you can do to the soldier classes with no loss of nanites

    if Indar becomes a place to zerg then let us have the old crown back
    if the crown is captured by any of the other factions Indar will be locked down
    every time Indar unlocks the crown go's to a other faction to defend it
    now there will be something to fight for and defend
    even with the crown completely surrounded and all the basses taken by the other factions you would be able to spawn there as the defenders

    Also the Indar revamp isn't fully done yet.

    Just checked out Indar on PTS yesterday and found a floating base between Tawrich Tower and the Stronghold. IMO the dev just throw everything they have so far without cleaning up so ppl can give some quick feedback. Clearly unfinished work, but looks pretty promising to me.

    You basically want to re-**** indar, which is going to be un-****** due to the PTS changes.

    don't worry i have no influence within DBG, i am not on the staff or do have any shares in the company
    my post is not mandatory
    and you don't have to get mad or use insults, don't be a cuss

    I dont get the idear behind some changes, for example why you remove the A point from broken arch, there is now a Pub inside wiht tables and so, really? I liked this base and it was a good zerg killer. Some bottlenecks are importent to stop zergs.

    i hate the changes they're making.
    honestly i'm usually quite a white knight on these forums, but these changes are freaking stupid.

    moving A points from towers...might aswell just remove the towers completely, they are now just glorified spawn rooms,
    the zergs have no reason to even go near the tower now, just camp 3 points...
    farewell epic fights for the staircases.

    they've even moved the vehicle shield generators OUTSIDE of some bases, OUTSIDE THE WALLS.
    what kind of hilarious decision was that?

    don't worry, the tank zerg can't get through the shield!
    lets move the shield generator outside right next to the shield...

    i'll give praise when praise is due, but these changes are extremely bad. :(


    pleas DBG:
    DO NOT move A points from towers!
    DO NOT put shield generators outside of a bases walls...
    you wouldn't leave your front door keys on your doorstep...

    True story, i am agree in some kind, but on the other hand its nearly unpossible to cap excavation side unless a mega outfit is dropping 2-3 platoons on it, on miller only kotv or dig can handle this for the vanu side. The got 3000 members or so, i am playing in a 100 man outift, witch is quiet big, but on normal times we cant handle a tower base whit normal population.

    Next point, i really dont get it, why the cutt of easy canyon or some other bases from the lattice, whats the reason?

    Once their done jacking around with Fundar, will it still be 8 VPs and out or will you reset it back to 10 for "further testing/data analysis" of your overall vision of what you wanted to change ? If you want more people to enjoy the other maps level out some areas a bit more like Indar. No, it doesn't have to be a desert but you could level out a few more areas on the landscape, take out some of the overwhelming trees on Hossin. Fix previous things you were in the work on and completely dropped the ball on and moved on. I don't completely fault for this though. That seems to be the norm of a MMO in its lifespan.

    I just hope they take advantage of the wast untouched northern area a bit more and reduce the cluttered southern parts that has way to many bases around. It kills the vehicle part of the game to much :/

    Reading through this and seeing one of the bases having its vehicle shield gen outside its walls... It seems as Indar is returning to its Beta status. Where the bases were far too easy to take(except the Crown).

    Definetly not a good sign.
