So I really like playing infantry and therefore try to be at Bio Labs whenever there is a fight to be had. Sadly there is this pattern that most of the time prevents that from happening (at least on Mallory at Rashnu Bio Labs). Essentially what happens is that the attacking side usually finds a deserted bio lab and can go ahead and take down SCU/outposts with minimal effort. By the time the map indicates the Bio Lab is under attack there are often no spawn locations left on the 7 hexes. Outpost locations are so quick to take that you can't really rely on those and bringing the SCU back online is almost impossible since by that time you are playing engineer vs HA and telegraph your location every time you try to repair something... Anyway the result is always the same. A party decides to take the Bio Lab, disables all spawn locations, fights off minimal resistance from a few desperate engis. camps out for minutes just to get those 1000 xp (which is a terribly inefficient use of your time...), leaves and the other empire does the same 10 minutes later. I guess the only correct answer would be to assemble a "defense squad" and jump to biolabs the moment there is any indication of it being attacked?
