[Suggestion] The Auraxium Bug on PTS has some pretty awesome player reaction

It looks like just about everyone would want a third kind of in game currency or XP system, if only for cosmetics.

What could Auraxium do in game right now that Certs and Station Cash aren't doing?

    • Cosmetics only (as mentioned, at length, in previous threads)
    • Outfit currency, for the purchasing of leadership-tree style abilities and cosmetics (COMPANIES AND BATTALIONS PLEASE)
    • Faction wide resource meter, with a voting style option for players/squad&platoon leads to implement special powers/abilities/traits as the meter hits certain values (the use of which depletes then depletes the meter).
      • Could be made to ramp off of existing pop-XP boosts such that under-populated factions gain a significant boost in Auraxium and acquire the 'better' abilities further up the tree faster.
      • Could be made to be faction specific
    • Something that is very slowly accrued and used in large quantities to rapidly cool down timers on drop-pods, MAXes, vehicles, etc.
    • Something else entirely
How to accrue it? Have it a % of XP gained? Based on medals accrued? Generated from AMP stations?
SOE, you have soooo many players waiting with ANTicipation over if (and how) you will implement another resource system.

What if the Auraxium 'currency' was actually just a bug and SOE don't want to do anything with it?

Why would you want battalions (plural!) when in the current set-up (four squads to a platoon, so four platoons to a company and four companies to a battalion) that would mean 768 players - more than a single continent supports? Even on a low end (three platoons to a company, three companies to a battalion) that would mean 432 people, or two-thirds of a continent's capacity worth of players.

Now, attaching a small (a third of the usual size) HQ squad to a platoon or a HQ platoon to a company (or squadron) if you really want a single military unit to be able to cover a whole front I could get behind. Same for support squads and platoons if resources and logistics ever become important.
