    What are you talking about? Max level nanoweave adds 25% Health, base health is 500, full shields are 500, so the maximum possible total HP you can have is 1125. Even the weakest sniper rifles do 600 damage, headshots are worth double damage. Nanoweave does not stop you being instant killed by sniper rifles no matter what rank you have, nor is it supposed to.

    Incorrect. With nanoweave you can be hit by a bolt action sniper in the head (at certain ranges) and survive.

    Oh and I'm pretty sure it's not a bug, it's been in the game for months. One of the benefits of using nanoweave. :D

    Exactly what weapon do you think NC maxes should bring to the fight? Bursters? Shotguns are the only anti infantry/Max weapons NC have. Falcons and Ravens might do more damage but they are also infinitely harder to hit with. At anything less than 30m (ie the range you normally engage other Maxs at) they don't fire at the crosshair, they fire from the side and the convergence point is a few hundred meters, so if you want to hit point blank you have to aim way to the left of your target and fire the right arm, and then aim way to the right and fire the left....try doing that on a VS Max while it can sprint sideways. Even if you are suggesting that the Raven which can be OK vs Maxs...it's also completely garbage against infantry. Do you honestly think there isn't a balance issue when the other factions have to equip weapons specifically to deal with your Max leaving them vulnerable to normal infantry?

    But yes, you are right, you've hit the nail on the head, Bringing shotguns to a VS Max fight is definitely bringing the wrong weapon unfortunately for the NC that is the best weapon they have, which is exactly what the problem is. The NC Shield is supposed to let us get into optimal shotgun range, problem is the VS ZOE completely counters it. The VS max can retreat while firing and it can move just as fast backwards as the the NC Max can advance while the NC max unable to attack and completely vulnerable to anyone except the one player they are trying to get to.

    Yeah, you need to read the post I was replying to mate. The fact that you can survive headshots at long ranges doesn't make anything I said "incorrect". The person I was replying to thought that level 2 nanoweave is supposed to make him immune to being instant killed by snipers regardless of range. I was pointing out that not even level 5 does that. Nanoweave reduces the range that a headshot wont kill you, at no point does it stop you getting headshotted completely.

    I literally am not going to respond to his post because of how off the wall and ridiculous 90% of what he said was. He obviously has no clue we have no choice but to bring shotguns on our max (just like he has no clue about anything else NC max related or apparently Vanu Max related lol). Just best to ignore people like this and hope they go elsewhere.

    Whoa I didnt realize you were scat maxing it... By all counts you should have won that fight in 2 shots. I assumed you meant pump action shotgun...(Those things never seem to hit what I shoot at) Damn assumptions.

    Sounds like a case of really really bad luck.

    All sniper rifles have a minimum damage of 550, the only difference is that the range at what this happens: 75m for every rifle except for the high-damage ones that have 550 damage at 100 meters.

    So, nano5 is supposed to protect from 1 shot kills at minimum damage range (but not under that) and it leaves you with 25/500 health. In theory, nano4 isn't enough to survive headshots from any bolt-action at any range, but on my medic with nano3 i survived quite a lot of them, so there actually is a bug in that.

    In VR, I like where y'all moved the warpgate terminal, its much more intuitive. Just fix the Warp to Hossin button already! ;) I understand it takes a long time to develop but let us see stuff already!

    A teaser would be nice....just an amp station please! It'll drive up hype probably sales. That kind of excitement would compel me to unlock lumifiber on every vehicle. Because many people will log in and fight, testing battle flow on hossin can be quick and progressive.

    Edit: My god the ursa is bad ***. Stick a small 25 cent donate button in the depot menu to drive up incentives to revamp all weapons.

    If this is referring to like the bursters... why? The tracer rounds from the busters the different colors is one of the few things that help me stay out of flak infested area (almost everywhere)

    is it just me or is the carnage BR's new model EXACTLY like the GR-22(im assuming this is just a glitch and they actually have a cool new model for my favorite gun in the game.)

    Do not nerf the ZOE into oblivion, tweak it slightly so that our maxes are still somewhat competitive.

    They are already competitive without ZOE, they are since GU8 buffed the heck out of them.
    It's just that everyone was so deeply dugged up in their mind about the VS MAX being crap that no one bothered to find out until the shiny ZOE came and everyone jumped on the MAX wagon.

    And as a sidenote: If something needs an active ability to be competitive it would be broken in the first place.

    I just want to say - if you SOE with higby nerfing something, give people possibility to reset certs on character. I spent 2250 certs to ZOE and if it gonna be nerfed I WANT my 2250 certs back to spent it again in new way. And yes - herpderp developing (giving good things and gets them back after less than month) so dumb. Instead of nerfing - give a little boost to other maxes.

    I think Evil Monkey's response to ZOE is totally correct. I didn't start using it until everyone started complaining. In VR and in theory it doesn't seem so great, but out in the field when you are actually moving around it feels awesome and is a lot of fun. I only purchased the first rank of it and that is what I use now. I had a lot of time with the VS max before ZOE and it seemed fine.. a little underpowered but still able to do its job. I think right now the two other faction maxes are where they should be. Max's don't need more buffs, I don't want to see large number of maxes out there, it will kill the infantry game. If mobility is what keeps the maxes in check, then all faction MAX's should follow it.

    I wish I thought of something during conception of the new MAX ability but I didn't. Right now I think ZOE should have been accuracy buff or maybe make all projectiles fired with ZOE go through targets.. like lasers should.. I mean the effect looks like it turns them into lasers anyhow.

    In a broad sense, since PS1, VS has the same issue with the magrider. The weakness of tanks is that they are slow and powerful, but the magrider is not as "beefy" as the other tanks and fast? How do you balance that? It forces hit and run gameplay with units that are meant for pushing and gaining ground. I guess that's what SOE pictures what VS should be about?

    I don't know, I mean I love playing ZOE with the new VS maxes and magriders... it just never made sense in terms of balance and unit roles.

    A bit out of context here but...
    the Magrider has the same armor and health values as the Prowler, giving them the same "beefyness".
    They just work differently.

    VS and TR overlap in too many fields, maybe they should had made VS high accuracy, meaning low recoil/projectile drop and so on but also very low damage on long range weapons to counterweight it.

    They shouldn't remove the bug. Instead actually put the levels up to that. And just buff Bolt actions.
