Bumping this for a much respected enemy. Seeing [TRAF] tags on the horizon always warns me that a storm is coming. [TRAF] is fearsome, organized and powerful. [TRAF] is the only enemy outfit that can really change the battlefield in a matter of seconds.
I put in an app at the site. I wanna be part of the fun, not just another TR soldier. You're play-style has left me awestruck. I am inspired. Not that I hate TRAF at all. I like you all's playing style very much. I put in the app to be on the winning side.
I have and I will do so in the future. Training last night was fun, however it lacked something of organization. It seemed like I was the only one not firing his weapon besides squad/fire team lead... Don't know why. Hope it gets a lot better in the future. Looking forward to fighting alongside ya'll.
I realize that, but if I can't hear, then it is not worth it to me. I'm not saying don't come, but if people don't follow orders, then the attack will deteriorate into a zerg. Not good, as I was involved in an Outfit that liked to join Zergs and that didn't work for me at all.
I have great respect for the Terran Republic Assault Force. They are well organized and have the best overall discipline of all the Jaeger Terran Republic outfits. I I started this game and on my first ranging out into deep enemy territory, I came across this bunch of guys with the [TRAF] tag rolling on with heavy artillery and Sunderers and I hitch-hiked with them! Since then I have always logged into the game to find atleast one TRAF squad publicly recruiting for their operations in Auraxis. I have never enjoyed any MMO as much as with you guys. Cheers Fenrir

After playing on several servers since Alpha Test I finally landed in a TRAF open squad and was so impressed I bought the company..... Or I would if it was for sell and I had the money to waste. Best group of guys that I've played with in the game all sides and 4 servers. I am active military and don't catch very many OP nights but they have enough of them that everybody has a good chance to get in on the fun and Op nights are the best.
I've only been playing the game for about a week, but can honestly say that I have not come across a leader in TRAF that has'nt gone out of their way to answer questions when asked. So far, having a ball with these guys. If you're looking for a home definitely worth checking out.
I've been with the TRAF since it's earliest days, and never could I have hoped to find such a superb group of people to fight alongside. The Terran Republic Air Force may be gone, but I will preserve our fly-boy roots to the death, supporting the Assault Force in TRAF's dedicated air-only command and control unit. I joined TRAF back in December to get some organization because I was tired of rolling with the zerg. Many people may claim that our outfit is a "zerg outfit" but those people have obviously never actually been in TRAF. We usually have 1-2 squads running at all hours of the day, and during ops we can have around 6-8. There is great organization and leadership, and our leaders really put their time into training outfit members and improving the outfit. We have an operation every Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday at 8 pm Eastern. We also have special training sessions that help players become better through experienced officers. When I joined, the members were really welcoming and ready to help.
TRAF is the place to be if you want to be able to be a part of something bigger, being able to change the course of the biggest battles on the server, through the use of tactics, rapid deployment, and sheer numbers. If you are tired of logging on to only find 2-6 of your outfit members online, all doing their own thing, TRAF is for you. We constantly have at least 2 squads running at any time of the day. On top of this, we host 3 major operations, which can have player numbers exceeding 120 players. Using a simple yet extremely effective comm system in Teamspeak, orders from battalion command go to platoon commanders, who give orders to the squad leaders, who then carry out that order with their squad. This ensures that every squad has individualized orders, and everybody knows what's going on. This also ensures that TRAF is not one to do the "follow the orange platoon waypoint" tactic that many other outfits our size tend to resort to. I've been running with TRAF now since the beginning of January, and I've been enjoying every minute of it! It's nice to always have a squad available to run with, and the members of the outfit are all really good guys. Rarely do squads sit around without orders, the chain of command, even outside of ops, does a great job of keeping us moving and on our toes. Mobility is key, and that's exactly what TRAF excels at. Every member of the outfit is very helpful to new players, and are always willing to answer any questions asked. Besides, how many outfits have awesome speeches at the beginning of their ops?
