Has anyone else noticed the growing use of teabagging killed enemies? I'm not saying it's good or bad; it's a little bit funny and I've done it on a challenging revenge kill, but I've just noticed this growing meme. Yesterday evening I over-heard NC zerg pubs saying "Hey! Don't forget to teabag that guy, soldier. No enemy shall be left unteabagged." Granted this is an NC zerg and i often see similar goofing off, but Im curious if this is becoming more common in the Planetside 2 gamer culture.

'Eh, sounds more like typical FPS gamer culture. Haven't noticed, haven't played in two weeks. :c Got really angry at the repeated loss of my sunderer and decided to take a break.

I only teabag when they out number me and i luckily get out alive, or if its a good fight with an equal skilled player.

There is a teabagging etiquette which has long been forgotten. The times i have died and some random guy who wasnt even part of the fight tebags me or worse the guy who stole the kill (suckerpunch style) decides he has the right to teabag.

    Kids these days.

I only teabag enemies I really hate, and am glad I get to deliver the final shot to take them out.

And when I knife my squad mates ^_^ (rarely happenes, but adds insult to injury in a fun and games banter setting)
For example, joking around with each other. One pulling a LA and flying over my Vanguard with C4 in hand, only so I roll back and shoot him out of the skies with my AP, park next to him, get out and proceed the teabagging. (of course telling him to ctrl+F10 for maximum trolling ;p )

I've noticed it growing. Heck, I got killed bu an AI MAX the other day, like an AI MAX killing a lone medic was some huge accomplishment.

Tea bagging will always be a part of FPS culture. While I understand that some people might find it puerile, I accept it as the universal FPS taunt that brings with it a certain aspect of risk. After all, there's nothing better then seeing some one begin crouching over your corpse mere second before a harasser runs him over.

All I ask is that people please MAX-bag responsibly.

I teabag campers. like when NC just took a base and that lone TR/VS tries to stay behind to pick off a few more people for "easy kills," or if someone is simply backed up into a corner somewhere just so they can shoot people in the back as they run by, nowhere near an objective. Those are the kinds of people who deserve some sweaty nuts on their heads and lips.

Teabagging does become less special and devalued when over used.

Been looking, but can anyone find the BF2 teabagging video of where the guy gets shot at with a rocket mid teabag and it goes through his legs, just missing his teabags? ;)

    Thanks.

The guys who teabag probably don't get that many kills, so it's their way of celebrating that rare and special occasion.

I'm going to have to agree.

Teabagging can be funny or a nice taunt in the right circumstances - but I've been getting it a LOT lately in the dumbest of situations.

    * oh that video is awesome and I'm pretty sure 'that' guy is making up a larger and larger % of PS2 players :D

a few months ago i knifed a lone TR burster max, because i was out of ammo, after that we talked a bit how he was out of ammo too and we both laughed. oh the good old days, when you wouldn't die to a fullsquad of BR100 TR MAXes.

Some people seem to believe that they should teabag every dead enemy they see.

An example i came accross that i found particulary dumb:
I was in a control point building in a base we were trying to cap, watching the doors, with some other TR doing idontknowwhat but they were not watching the doors at all. The inevitable happens, an NC runs in and starts murdering the guys that did not pay attention. I could not immediately open fire because he ran in between those guys. He downs 2 of them, i have a free lane of fire and kill him. Another TR that didnt do **** walks over and teabags the dead NC.

So this NC just murdered your teammates, making use of their inability to actually watch the doors. He pretty much owned you and would have proceeded to do so if i didnt shoot him. You did not kill him, i did, but you teabag him. Ok....

This is just a case i really noticed because it was so absurd. But i do not think most teabaggers think about when to do it and when not. They just do it for the lulz and the trolling factor.

I have to agree with this, it seems pretty stupid to me, same as those guys that "taunt" you when they kill you (assuming "your best is my worst" can be considered a taunt, lol). Not that I care if they do it to me, it simply amuses me how they think it annoys anyone.

When someone who gets a first kill teabags me its a good feeling, like I was so hard to kill he feels he has to do it even tho we have no history and his whole effort was only at that moment, im probably laughing louder than them.

Myself, the only people I ever teabag are my own team, doesnt need to happen often but if it annoys the spineless idiots/TKers/attention seekers a little more then why not.

Teabagging is a lost art. If there's a revival, I'm pleased.

Currently, I only teabag in one situation:

Light Assault bails from ESF. Hover overheaded bouncing on him (teabagging with the Reaver... It's for pros...), then when he's got you down to about 25% HP with his primary, two hit with the nosegun, then park up. Get out. Teabagging proper. Ideally whilst repairing your Reaver.

    ^MLG right there.

I have no problem tea bagging those stat padding baddies who I find always in MAX suits after I kill them. Second to that are those who always are toting a pump shotgun and after that any ZOE MAX user, even when I'm not the one who killed them.
