I was wondering what would be the best attachments for this gun, i have 500 spare certs to spend on it.
There. But i ask WHY would you buy weapon that does the same dmg as CARV but shoots rly much slower ? I've tried rhino for challenge but its just pure downgrade from CARV so i changed back to CARV
CARV has much worse horizontal recoil and doesn't come with the advanced foregrip. The Rhino is a mid-range gun, if you're trying to use it like a CARV you're doing it wrong.
Since it got the buff reducing its first-shot kickback, the T-16 has been my favourite allround LMG. I use the advanced foregrip and a 1x Reflex Sight - and nothing more. Its accuracy is unsurpassed and the low ROF actually helps putting all those bullets on target. Oh, and it looks cool too now. Just remember to ADS, because its hipfire capability is appalling. Also, when inside small rooms, I tend to favour my Repeater + knife over it. In all other situation, even long-range, I love my Rhino. IMHO, the CARV can't hold up a candle to it.
Adv foregrip, reflex sight (maybe take the 3.4 for use at long range) and compensator. What you have in your hands is an LMG with little recoil which is easily manageable, which can put out a sustained rate of accurate fire out to mid range. In CQC you will be at a disadvantage to some one carrying a dedicated CQC weapon, but that's kind of like saying you get better orange juice from an orange than you would from a lemon. It's also accurate at longer ranges if you tap-tap-tap rather than trying to burst fire. T16, my current favourite HA weapon.
Sorry for off topic, but I have a question. If T16 is mid-range, then what is TMG-50? I used to thing that TMG-50 is mid-long-ish range LMG, but I fing it really inaccurate at >50m spraying all around the target. Is T16 more accurate than TMG -50?
1x reflex, that's it... but forward grip if you want to shoot at long range too. One of the very few guns i use without the need of much attachments.
For my T16 Rhino, I run Adv. Foregrip - this you need, as it makes takes the Rhino's biggest advantage and improves upon it. High Velocity Ammo - Honestly, I'm not sure how useful this is. I may try a day or two without it. Favorite Optic - I use IRNV, the downside being it often washes out on Esamir and Indar with the light-colored ground. About the TMG-50. It is a twin of the Rhino, but with slightly higher damage per shot and slightly lower rate of fire. It comes down to attachments and personal preference. I will choose the Rhino any day because of the Adv. Foregrip; and it is the weapon the 'feels' right to me. I don't know which is exactly shot-by-shot more accurate, but I have a feeling the Rhino is, even withour the advanced grip. More important is the personal feel of the gun. I have yet to meet a dedicated TR Heavy who doesn't have an opinion one way or the other.
They're both mid-range options. The TMG can be used farther out than the Rhino because it's one damage tier higher, but the Rhino is more accurate within their overlapping effective ranges. Bursts from the Rhino can be a few bullets longer than those from the TMG because of its low recoil and mulipliers. You should be bursting at that distance in any case.
