This has probably already been suggested, but I think it would be useful if when you were in a squad there was an indicator on your screen when a beacon for your squad is active. Everytime I'm in a squad, I have to stop to check the map if a beacon is already up before placing one. Would be nice to have that info on the screen in the squad area already.
