Stuttering, horrible performance - post here

Sounds like hitching and exactly what I get.
  2. Gammit

No hitching today while on Low settings, few hitches (2-4) on Medium settings while flying in a Reaver in third person and hitting A or D, and TONS of hitching on High settings, as seen below.

What's odd is that my fps were OK even while the hitching occurred.

Also, note toward the end of the video that my fps didn't drop -10 when ADS with my rifle.

I'm getting micro-stutters for some reason. I'm around 50+ FPS with medium-to-high settings in most areas. Turning off sync seemed to help a bit but then getting tearing. Not sure what to do.

Guys, I was having similar issues as mentioned above by the last 3+ posters. Try turning on Vsynch *and* framerate smoothing at the same time. Seriously. I only encountered issues when my settings were on High/Ultra and at max res (1920x1080). If I went down to Medium settings or reduced my resolution/render quality while on High settings, the stuttering went away.

I currently run High settings and max res with no stuttering, about 45 FPS, with vsynch and smoothing on.

I'll try this and report back.

The game performance is much, much worse for me now! What the hell is going on?

On live server I have about 60-80 fps normally, about 30 in stress, CPU bound.
On PTS I get 20-50 fps all the time, GPU bound, sometimes going as low as 5-10 fps. Not only that, but the game stutters badly every time when I'm looking around. And looking around itself is... floaty as hell, aiming is kinda stupidly hard now. But maybe it's because of this stuttering (frame skipping?).

So, OMFG means 62% decrease in FPS + stuttering for me :(.

    If it helps, my specs:
    Core i5-4670k
nVidia GeForce 650Ti Boost (331.65 driver)
    8GB DDR3 1600MHz CL9
    Windows 7 x64

Edit: Turning off shadows increases performance greatly, but still not up to live levels. Not mentioning that game now looks ugly.

I'm getting the same result. Everything was working great last night during the dev playtest.
