Usuallt u get a response within the week, please often check ur junk mail! Goodluck mate! Always fun times in SG love it!
On Sunday evening, a combined arms force from Sturmgrenadier including an infantry platoon, an armor squad, and an air squad successfully stormed and took The Crown from a dug-in Terran force. It took us less then ten minutes. Come check us out at SGHQ.com and see why many of our members have been with us for a decade or more! We offer a mature gaming experience, lots of cooperation and organization, and even training classes so you can finally learn how to do something else with your Reaver besides seeing how hard you can ram it into the ground. (Admittedly, I haven't taken that training yet. If you see me in a Reaver and you're on the ground, run. It's for the best.)
Join SG and make Enclave feel outnumbered with only half the people. Quality over quantity. This weekend is going to be crazy-go-nuts awesome.
I would say that well over 75% of those leading squads in SG, have been with SG for less than 6 months, and joined only for PS2. This is a GOOD thing.... We dont have a BCP in SG... not that we dont have flamboyant players.. or great players... or great leaders.. we have all that and more. What we dont have is an organization dominated by any one personality. Folks step up... lead and generally at some point retire and just enjoy the frag-fest. In this way the, while the tenets of our charter reamin in tact, the people change, new blood comes in.. and the game play is new and fresh. Not to mention how fun it is to have Kitten.. (yes we have female members) yelling for us to get in the Sundy. If you are considering an outfit.. but are worried that "all the best spots are taken" please look at SG. Yes we are organized and structured, and yes leadership is in place. But there is room for YOU... and YOU can find your self leading in SG very quickly. PS: No hate for BCP... been knowing him for a many years (PS). Always a good fight when TE and SG mix it up.
Here’s the question you have to ask yourself, are you happy playing where (and who) you are playing with. That’s really the ultimate question to ask. If you are then I think you already know your staying put, but if you aren't might I suggest another possible solution... Sturmgrenadier. What is going to happen when the next best thing comes out and the outfit you are in decides to go do something else. It sucks to lose your friends, it is no fun capping a point by yourself. Tired of your current outfit being run by a cult-personality? You know that one person that just is the glue that keeps everything from falling apart…but when that person steps away you lose absolutely all cohesion and the squabbling starts. Tired of being the guild/outfit leader or person that foots the bills for the Teamspeak/Ventrillo, website, forums, etc… that everyone uses but very few contribute to? We don’t recruit for Planetside 2 members, we recruit for people that want to become Sturmgrenadier members. We play multiple games, have players of all creeds, countries, and walks of life. We don’t put up with drama, disrespect, or that feeling/type of adolescent locker-room antics. If you are looking for an organized, dedicated, and fun group of gamers may I humbly suggest you check out Sturmgrenadier. Our website is located at www.sghq.com We don’t care about your kill/death ratio, we don’t solo. We are a group of organized guys and girls that love to play games with no drama. If you are interested in us, check us out. We also (as an organization) pay our own bills; as such, there is a membership fee per/year. We don’t put the burden on one person, we spread it amongst all members… that money that is left over is returned to the members via a Christmas give-away (3 years ago I won a NewEgg card that paid for my 1TB external drive.) Check us out, run with us for 30 days before you take the plunge. Put in your app today at www.sghq.com.
Honestly, the Twitch streams just aren't that valuable. They tell your enemies where you are, and it's a pain to make sure someone is running them each night. *shrug*
Eh, I figured they would be a good recruitment tool but I don't know. And as for telling your enemies where you are I've seen them run on a several minute delay to offset the tactical downsides. They are probably a pain in the butt though. How about any recent videos on youtube? I thought this one was one of the best SG ever put out: There was also another WW2OL one that used music from the Phantom Menace that was really good but I can't find that one. Also SG had a PS1 video that used a song from DMX I think that was really good too but once again I can't seem to find it.
I have been playing PS2 on and off. The reason is due to not being able to get some of the mechanics to work ingame (Headset) and simply being new and not knowing/having anyone to play with. Maybe what I need is a Company/Clan/Community to better enjoy the game and learn the ins and outs. I typically only enjoy playing the Recon Role but am willing to explore into the others... My ingame name is Draslord .
We don't use the in-game comms, and TeamSpeak is relatively easy to set up with any headset configuration!
