I have been in SG since 2008. I have enjoyed my time here and enjoyed the people I have met. We have gotten many good new players in for PS2 and I am sure we will continue to grow. Your talent and drive will be what determines your place in SG, so do not let the age of the org effect you.

I had a few "OMG" moments during my solo time in Planetside 1. I was blown away by Planetside 2 during Beta and I craved more "OMG" moments, memories that I woud have for years, that only Planetside 2 can deliver. My mouse clicks ultimately lead me to the Sturmgrenadiers recruitment page, just as it has you. After reading up a little more on SG I decided to take the plunge and I started my 30 day trial. Planetside 2 is a daunting game for new comers and SG set me on the path to better understand and play the game. I am now currently a Squadleader and I have "OMG" moments every night, each better than the last. I wholeheartedly encourage you to put in an application and join us. -Kaladin
Last night I was the designated Sunderer driver and Engineer for my squad, part of a full platoon that was cleaning up Amerish. We were assaulting bases just outside of the TR Warpgate when we started to get hit by a large number of TR tanks and Mossies, so we abruptly set up on a high road within view of the base we were trying to, and within sight of the TR warpgate. While the rest of the platoons were barreling down into the base to grapple with the defenders, we got caught in a constant stream of enemy contacts trying to get past our point on the hill. Prowlers, mossies, libbies - they all tried to dislodge us from the hill. It's amazing what 12 people can accomplish as part of a greater piece! We weren't even in the thick of the fighting and had a great time. By the time the Sunderer was running out of ammo, we had captured the base, linked back up with the main SG force, and proceeded to clean up the rest of the VS on continent. This is the sort of experience I got frequently in PS1 (over a 10 year span), and in PS2 as SG continues to fine-tune and perfect our tactics, I have had, and look forward to having more awesome experiences like it! When we assault, we assault effectively and fiercely. When we defend, we dig in like a tick and are difficult to push out. If you are NC and you want to roll with the best led, most organized group on Matherson, this is the one for you.
Joined SG back in BETA and by far the best outfit I've been a part of ever! I played with many of the most well know NC, VS, and TR outfits in beta, SG is now my home. Teamwork and organization is 2nd to none, plus it's a great group of people to play with. Recruitment has a 30 day trial period for both you and SG to see if it's a fit. Give it a try you'll be glad you did.
I am glad to see you at least decided to play against us. The key to enjoyment in this game and others like it is to not only have good people playing with you, but against you as well.
I need a good organized outfit and saw SG was recruiting so I applied, but was rejected quickly for whatever reason haha. I guess I'm not 1337 enough. So the outfit hunt continues.

Hey Aldman! Yeah I certainly do miss it. I'm having fun in PS2 no doubt but I do miss some of the more complex mechanics that WW2OL had like R&D, and the vehicle damage models and proper joystick support for flight. I heard it recently went F2P but that population is very low which is unfortunate. Say I was wondering last night, some of the larger outfits on this server like The Enclave and Azure Twilight both do Twitch TV streams; has SG done or thought about doing anything like that?
