Same here, Hangs at 96% and i am on Conery. Had same problem yesterday also. I am doing a clean install right now to see if not only does it load but when i exit the game i do not all ways have to alt tab to close the game fully. almost a full year and these problems are still around. Sucks that i used a exp boost and have not been able to log in for the past two days. What a waist of my BOOST.
Hung at 96% for a half hour. Got to the character screen but it will not log in. I agree ^^ Diewoe this is such a waste for those of us that purchased boosts and planned on playing for double xp. Really not cool SOE. I should have learned my lesson after Star Wars Galaxies =/
There are 4 other threads about this very problem and no word. To bad people do NOT know how to use the search function and make a new thread. If this thread had all the posts from the other "same problem" threads it would be almost 20 pages long and would demand some attention.
Temporarily disabled my antivirus, instantly loaded past 96% after waiting for a few minutes. Only done it once, so not sure if it was a coincidence yet. Update: Repeatable, but now I can't get past the login screen. Enjoy the double XP, everyone else!
I also temporarily disabled my antivirus and can get to the character select screen. I cannot get into the game world.
yea i finally got passed the loading thing but now i am stuck when i try to enter worlds This is obviously a server issue.... the last hotfix has **** things up * finally in after main restarts * do the file validation thing... * it is extremely slow it think it must be some server issue
I also have this problem. Loading slow and sticks around 96-98%. I just ctrl+alt+del and end ps2, reopen and it loads fine. Then i get stuck on login. I let it sit for a second, then exit game, and load it back up. It then runs as normal. specs: i7 3770k gtx 660ti 256gb ssd 16mb ram
Thanks for the thread, I am also having this problem about once every 3-4 hours. Stopping the process via task manager is required.
Same here. It crashes right before it finish loading for the first time. The first time that this has happened to me
Either the new Avira Patch or the new hotfix dont work together it seems. Disabling Avira solved it for me
Well, I'm having the same problem to. But I also noticed when I logged on to the forums these great big red letters saying the game is DOWN FOR MAINTENANCE. So, even though the servers are up, something is still down. Which might be why we all can't get on? I mean, if say the servers are up, but the LOG IN server is being maintained, then yeah. We won't get in.
Not ideal or recommended.. Disabled Avast Firewall and got in then turned it back on. Validated files first but doubt that was needed.
