Hey, was just wondering if this it's normal for me to still be running a 32bit client on a 64bit machine. Originally when they brought out the 64bit client, I had a small update and it ran a 64bit client (I confirmed this through processes on the task manager - also, on a side note, I can tell when I'm running 32bit compared to 64bit, because on the 32bit client the audio is muffled, like I'm underwater, but on the 64bit client, the audio works fine). Then for some reason, about a day later, I had another small update which put me back on the 32bit client? Is there anyway for me to run a 64bit client, I'd love to have nice crisp audio once again! Also, any idea when the "Medic" and "Repair" macros will be fixed? Cheers.
I don´t have trouble running the game either in x64 or x86 mode, but I saw also that it runs with 32bit not 64bit. Strange thing.
They reverted it back to 32 bit since some people were crashing a lot. They will release it again when it's ready I guess.
would be nice if they kept it live and gave people the option to switch back if it was causing them issue, I missed it entirely never got to try the 64bit version. Must dl the test client at some point heh.
The 64bit client should be live again on the 15th this month. https://forums.station.sony.com/ps2/index.php?threads/major-live-issues.179848/
Thank you. Any idea on when the audio macros for "Repair" and "Medics". ie. when you press "V" then "2" or "3", will be fixed? There's been many a time as a MAX where I've been ignored by engineers because I can't call for repairs.
I honestly hope the 64-bit client fixes the random crashes I'm having with this game. It is really annoying. I suspect its the process overloading from memory usage, but I'm not sure.
