This game is actually very simple. Learn to fly an aircraft and it's like putting in an invincibility code in any other game. You insta-win. Planetside 2 consists of flying mechanics and then some other stuff thrown in as fluff. Learn to fly aircraft and your set.

Do you get it yet? It never ends. It's called a full scale war game with air, ground, and vehicles. You can't just put A2G aircraft vs ground troops with only light deterrents under the microscope and pretend that's a balance picture. If you are sitting on the ground with a missile launcher trying to defend against a bunch of people in the air and shaking your fist at SoE... you're probably not playing the right game for your playstyle.
