My outfit does a lot of beacon rotation, that is, the squad leader rotates so we can always have someone with a beacon ready to deploy. However some people don't have beacons due to low BR, they haven't certed it yet, or they just used it and it's still on cooldown. My suggestion is a simple indicator in the on-screen squad listing, just an icon next to a player if they have a beacon and it's not on cooldown. This could be an icon near the class icon or a colored stripe behind the username. And it really only needs to be visible to squad/platoon leaders. That is all.
if youre working together that well/coordinated seem slike you should all be in teamspeak or something, and ask/know who has what.. "im bravo 3 and have a beacon, give me lead please" case closed
Ideally yes. Doesn't always work in practice because of comm chatter, or someone without a mic, or the newb who doesn't talk, or the 1 - 2 dudes whose comms are bugged and not working, or (most often) that beacon needs to be passed off RIGHT FREAKING MEOW and you'll lose your initiative during the five seconds it takes to discuss who can be the next squad leader. I'm sure there are things we can do in our outfit to improve, but this seemed like a simple little suggestion so I'm just throwing it out there. I think there are a number of small changes that could help the squad leaders out, and this is one of them.
but distracting SOE from hossin. . thats a no no lol no shame in kicking people from the squad if they dont have a beacn/mic/are having an issue that lowers your effectiveness. but hell as i see youre TR on soon-to-be Wattherson, i hope you keep on having issues getting those beacons down lol personally i ave a problem more with getting leadership and it doesnt give me the beacon like it should
