Spawn Changes Just Don't Work

    Hopping two links:
    15 seconds + 15 seconds = 30 seconds.

    Hopping three links:
    15 seconds + 15 seconds +15 seconds = 45 seconds

    Reason for putting me through 3 successive respawns/loadscreens/suicides ?

    Let me redeploy there already.

    NO. YOU CAN'T.

    The redeploy Is allowed UNTIL the battle is EVEN.

    The redeploy system isn't random. you just don't know how it works.

    That's why you can't redeploy in a base where it's a 50/50%or a 70/30 to your side battle rolling


    Your ignorance don't make your point valid.


    You edited your own post. Everyone know the deploy jumping. is a bad design/mechanic that needs to be REMOVED. NOT IMPROVED or made more "accessible".

    PS: You don't "solve a problem" by saying this problem was intendend when it clearly wasn't. Sadly SOE has a historic of "solving" by accepting.

    Example of this ****** practice is Beacon. It has a CD that can be worked around by changing the squad leader. What's the point of having a CD to begin with then? Just allow me to use beacon whenever i want.

    We are aware that there are some frustrating cases with the current respawn rules in the wake of the reinforcements needed changes. We are looking into solutions here, both short and long-term. Sorry I cannot provide more details or etas, just letting you know we hear you and are working on the issue.

    I've seen plenty of 30%vs70% and no reinforcement options available anywhere. If the idea is to even up fights, it's not working properly.

    Yes and no. When this happened to me i looked in the territory right in the side and saw stuff like 90% 48+ allies and 1~12 enemies.

    PS: Before someone say something. I'm not defending SOE i'm just saying what i often see.

    let me spawn anywhere where my faction has a base, indicate directly at spawn dot symbol if its a hot zone or not

    (I find the filter options awful, the handling and presentation)

    maybe you want to stop platoons from hopping around the continent (not sure if the overall reason for the fubar spawn locations system was ever explained), but they do it for a reason - to get to the action and have an impact on the tides of battle... whats wrong with that

    Spawn options are frustrating me in general. I was sitting in a biolab last night camping the teleporter room and thinking to myself while I shot at the same ZOE max repeatedly as he ducked in and out of the shields and we both got continuous repairs, "Is this what epic game play is?"

    Isn't this supposed to be a "combined arms" game? Shouldn't we at some point be forced to use our vehicles? If we don't have enough resources, does that mean that our defense fails? If we're trying to force it into an FPS and we can just redeploy anywhere we want at any time, why bother having a 64 square KM map? Just make each base a instanced zone and call it a day.

    Redeploy warpgate, pull galaxies, load up, arrive at destination. Less than 2 minutes.

    SLs only redeploy, grab fuel tank mossies, after burn to destination, full platoon squad deploys, full platoon at destination in approx 1 minute.

    The current spawn system is annoying as all sh*t and needs a fix but getting 48 organised players from one side of the map to the other can still be achieved in less than 120 seconds.

    IF we don't have enough resources, does that mean we shouldn't be able to play the game? Because the closes spawn point atm is a 30 min walk from the fights.

    Makes the initial view of a map sort of pointless. Redeploy from the warp gate and have the option of the warp gate and one other base far from any enemies. Faster to join a random squad, squad deploy to get to a contested area, then drop and do whatever you were going to do anyway.

    It might should mean that you can't get to defense in time. The attackers had to move there. If you can always just redeploy, what is the point of having a big map? And what is epic exactly about spawn camping while the base timer runs down?

    i'll ask you again, if i don't have resources, does that mean that i shouldn't be able to fight players? Because that's how it is for me atm.

    Again you don't fix a ****** system accepting it. And i Hope SOE have learned that.

    PS: removing Squad spawn, that was being abused since it came live. And only being able to respawn in beacons in the territory you are at.

    Really? you pay resources for the bullets?

    Or you mean you can't get to the base because you will not have enough resources to travel there? Not like you can ride in a galaxy/sunderer and go there,,,

    But nah... players in this game are already complaining about not being able to redeploy in the other side of the map INSTANTLY. I guess is out of their imagination playing with a team in a game WITH 2000 PLAYERS. The lone wolf NEED to be able to do everything in the game when he wants.... right?
    PS: Number of players may be different, but i guess you get the point. Is a MMOFPS. You aren't supposed to play alone.

    Actually the lone wolf does.
    Ceres has a max of 1200 players on average.
    1200 people play on ceres
    400 people play on ceres per continent
    28 players will fight per base per continent on ceres.
    Now /2 all those numbers since more than half of the playerbase is lone wolf in this game.
    So much for your 2000 PLAYERS LET ME PUT THIS IN BIG FONT SO IT SHOWS THAT I'M RIGHT.

    Truth be told, these changes kill big fights more than the previous changes, people who lose a base and are getting zerged will realize they can't spawn anywhere else and will log out, people who are zerging realize they can't spawn at a fair fight and will log out, there isn't equal action and there isn't action everywhere (else you'll end up with 14vs14 fights), if a fight dies out and i can't respawn to get somewhere back in action then i'm sure to log out.

    You might find the challenge to redeploy to the warpgate and spawn a scythe every time you want to fight at a different base only to zerg or get zerged, but i don't.

    PS: The player logging out would be the players who sit in the spawn room/camp spawn room. Or the 4 faction that when is losing change the faction.

    I'f i had the money i would PAY for them to quit. Quantity is fun and all but i prefer quality over it.

    Enjoy your high quality ghostcapping then, because fighting with 300 players on a continent will be absolutely boring
