Spawn Camping Issues

This is getting old SOE. Just about every base except for a few exceptions are horribly spawncamped when the enemy faction has more pop. Some bases were "fixed" to make them harder to spawncamp, so instead of walking out of the spawnroom and instantly being killed you walk out and around corner and get killed. Of course people don't like being farmed, so then they leave the base to go somewhere else and the people who do stay just sit in the spawnroom, waiting for an enemy to pop out. By then the base is almost capped and no one wants to make a push. Please fix SOE.

Its not spawn camping when you can just spawn at another base, if you are stupid enough to stay and keep getting killed its your dumb *** fault period.

cant reply so to Sargent major,
    1 be respectful
2 its generally to easy to spawn camp and having every battle one sided sucks.
3 your too mad leave, have a refreshing coca cola/mountain dew/Pepsi/ect. and calm down for 15 min.

Well although Sargent major didn't put it politely, he is right.

If you're spawncamped because the enemy has significantly more population (say 2:1), then unless you do something else they're always going to be spawncamping you. It just makes tactical sense. In a fight you want to cut the enemy off before he has room to maneuver and stuff him up at chokepoints... and naturally the spawnroom doors are the best place for this.

The changes SOE made (one-way spawnroom windows and multiple spawnrooms) didn't really solve this problem... it just moved the camping a little bit back from the actual rooms. But if the enemy force is large enough they will be watching all the exits.

So the correct thing to do in this case is to take your platoon and go back to the nearest friendly base. Pull what you need to blow up the enemy logistics. This could be an armor column or a Galaxy full of suicidal HAs. Then strike quickly at the enemy Sunderers and if possible secure the area around the base to prevent enemy reinforcements from getting in. Hopefully in that time you've hit them so quickly that they can't muster a defense, and that the blueberries still inside the base can kill enough of them to thin out their numbers.

At that point you want to move your armor/air forces to a defensible position away from the base that you were defending, in order to intercept any approaching enemy Sunderers/Galaxies. Preferably a natural chokepoint where the difference in numbers doesn't matter so much.

And that's how in theory you're supposed to defend a base... through attacking. Doesn't always work (sometimes you're just too outpopped or too disorganized), but it's what's supposed to happen.

Damage your self in the head when hitting spawn room doors with your shot, no more spawn camping, not even by vehicles,,,,
    nuff said?

    I agree with Sgt. Major.
if youre getting spawn camped, its time to withdraw.

I'm not the person that stays at the base when it is like that but I am talking about a lot of players.
