[BUG] Spawn beacon thing has gone on long enough

    DBG This is a game altering bug. It should be fixed outside the usual patch cycle. Unless I'm mistaken it's just flipping a number in a single line of code.

    When is this going to be fixed?


    Reference: Bug where a long spawn beacon timer is set upon each death and a spawn beacon can only be used after a several minute wait... even on first use.

    I preferred the "bug" when you could spawn almost instantly. It ade attacks and defences extremely versatile and hectic fights erupted everywhere constantly.

    Just make squad beacons function more like a Sunderer. You can spawn there easily and it just limits your options for swapping classes and resupplying. Add a resource costing utility beacon while you are at it that allows the entire faction spawn on it with similar rules as Sunderers. That would be a proper middlefinger to "we need more teamwork so we limit it to only people in your squad" mechanics that are unfathomably dumb.

    Agreed - lots of bugs seem to have been sorted already (including the really 'fun' ones :( ) and overall it's playing much better YET the spawn system is still not working as described.

    When you can't spawn to a base even when it's heavily underpopped and under heavy attack - it's a problem.
    When you can't get to a spawn beacon without an extraordinary wait - why bother placing spawn beacons.

    Oh - and stop making complete noobs squad/platoon leaders !
