Sorry, pink camo is the final straw for me

I can explain the pink camo . Since the lore of the game says planetside 2 is basically an eternal war, think of all 3 empires of planetside 2 as one big warrior culture, in many warrior cultures flair and flamboyant colored armor/clothing are common as to bring attention to themselves on the battlefield. Like how an indian sikh warrior/soldier wears a turban, to draw attention to himself on the battlefield.



So yeah, get over it lol.

Well, the other day we had a full pink NC squad go up against a full pink VS squad. It looked great. It was great. Until we started shooting each other, repeatedly. But it was well worth it. The pink was great. Gave the entire fight a comic aspect. Another great thing was, most of the pink people were BR 90+.

Ever since that pink camo popped up, I've been hearing more and more deeper feminine voices. I like the state of the game.

Who cares?its not like i give a damn about gender equality and **** in a game.Everybody has his own preferences on what he wants weather it sounds sexist or not its the least of the problems of the game

They also used it on the Spitfire when used for spy missions! They flew just below cloud lines in order to pick up the pink hue of the clouds....

Agreed. The camo coverage on the TR MAX is clearly inferior, this needs to be rebalanced.

The worst thing about this is that I get seriously confused because I saw my pink ally run past me and the next moment I see a pink enemy and assume it's my pink ally, then I die...it sucks. I used to get confused about camos when I was a noob and now I get confused again because of it. Feels bad, man.

And yes, it looks like ****, so there is that as well...

I mean - this is no different than any of the other available camo types like storm trooper (esamir snow) indar brush, and so on.

Like the Lolkeeper, it's only a problem because EVERYONE is using it.

The only thing missing is a Disco Ball and Kim (do not care how it's spelled) Kar-dash-ians A$$.

What craft is that? Looks sort of like a Mustang, but it could be a P-40 as well.

Is that really any different that any other non empire specific color if you got confused with 2 pink dudes then whats the difference with 2 guys wearing the White directive camo.

Most of the camos (white included) are more subtle than the empire colors, whereas the pink is quite bold. Basically, that means that pink is the color that registers first, causing the confusion. But as I said in the other thread, I shoot them all first rather than die because of their ostentatious garb.

I don't like the color myself but I don't agree that DGC should have restricted it. They make money selling it.
I guess if it upsets you that much just shoot those wearing and then send them a message telling them why. lol

I just shoot those who wear Pink camo. Problem solved. Of course, sometimes they are teammates. But what you gonna do, if your friend looks like your foe?

Pink Camo is definitely an eyesore. Kind of makes me want to vomit.

the pink is fine, i have no problem with it
