something i found out about BR's and slug shotguns

    so i noticed something very.....odd. it appears that the ts-4 haymaker does more damage at 80 M with slugs than the AMR-66 with HVA and teh ts-4 has a more controllable recoil and faster tttk at 80 M. is this superposed to be like this:eek:






    yes i do realize that the TS-4 has a slow velocity compared to the AMR

    What's so odd about? Slugs are big, heavy bullets, I'd imagine they hurt a lot.

    Slugs still have 50% less damage bonus from headshots.

    And less than half the projectile velocity. Good luck hitting a moving target.

    Welcome to the issue with the NC max' only long range AI weapons.
    99% of the situations you'll find yourself in, slugs are not acceptable range alternatives.

    Slugs do 500 damage and have a maximum STK of 4. Super close range it's 2, 90% of the time it's 3. In return they have huge dropping meaning you have to compensate a lot for a rifle, and most important is they have absolutely p*** poor velocity. They might seem good in VR but in combat they aren't nearly as good. As rhino said, their only have 1.5 headhost multiplier, no OHK.
