SOE return the armour you stole!

Seriously. I have been asking them to sell the armour in the middle here without all these highlighted extra parts for more than a month now



This is the armour that they have been advertising everywhere since forever. why don't they sell the highlighted parts separately? I don't like them as the extra pauldrons on pauldrons also cover my decals

As for the pre-alpha armour, I'm all for it

Wow, never noticed that before, big difference between what was being advertised, and what we eventually got. I guess they felt the need to spruce up something which was being paid for with SC, but they really should give us more options.

And it applies to all classes as well. Look up the E3 theater presentation video they show all the classes in their full armour without those scrap parts on top of them

What's so upsetting to me is the Vanu heavy looked fantastic in the previews but now looks absolutely ridiculous with so much teal

I just want my pants/boots without the extra scrap attached. they can sell it separately

Lets say the Devs did decide to release the older armour as the default armour, then I think the composite should stay the same, as it would look "composite" like the vehicle composite armour, I think that was the original idea for it, of course I will just take it off until the Devs release some new armour.

I really hate the yellow cereal boxes on the thighs of the NC Heavy Assault. Looks utterly rubbish.

For more diversity and a better reason why they should implement this, is that the older armour could be an award. When a new player creates a character, he will have the default armour we have now, once he reaches Battle Rank 10, he is awarded the older armour to wear, this would easily distinguish the newer players from the higher ranking players, it could also help keep people more dedicated to that faction as they have to get to Battle Rank 10 to get the stockier armour.

Yes, they said that they were brining the Drakon armor back from Alpha due to popular demand... though this thread is only a small portion of that outcry.

Drakon armors are a good start, for everything else we'll have to wait for Player Studio

In all seriousness, Tayradactyl was on reddit two months back asking what the players wanted in terms of cosmetics, either future ones or changing what's already out. I made a post about it (among other things) and it just happened to be one of the most upvoted ones. Months go by and here we are! I giggled like a school girl

I LOVED the heavy armour for VS. Its still on all the art, like everywhere else, EXCEPT in game. Its on the class pages in the Players page as well. Its sleek and looks great compared to what we have.

The Drakon is okay, i bought all of them (they're pretty cheap so its not bad) but they are basically just.. almost no armour. Its mostly on the back of the model, it looks fine, but its nowhere close to the stuff from the alpha

Tray confirmed that they want Player to make almost if not everything with Player Studio, spacing from Armor to Vehicles body Kit, but not already, sometime soon, they might even be waiting for it to launch in EU and give all players the same chances to make items.

But it'll happen!
