So where was the Bastion Fleet Carrier in the Roadmap?

    This thing would be awesome if it were a capable (indestructible) flying base with a set path to fly (slowly) over the main bases on each map.

    Whoever owned the ship at the time that it flies over one of the main bases would be able suppress attacking forces.. or suppress the defenders, and would make for a good mobile spawn point, which would only really benefit the LAs that jump off of it.

    I do not think this would make a good vehicle in the game for one person to pull like a galaxy.

    Actually this was brought up during the Community Design Meeting Hosted by Azure Twilight with Matt Higby and Tramell Ray Isaac it something that is out there but not confirmed. Here is the link to the video:

    while i appreciate the sentiment....



    i don't think a flying slab of plastisteel, hove rgenerators and nanites half a kilometer wide, a kilometer long, and floating 800m in the sky is going to suprise anyone.

    i expect the reaction to be more like this

    One active per empire , and one single pilot (you can have some gunners) .
    One point of acquisition pre empire , in a very large hall , with all penalties for friendly fire defeated .

    Jests aside , I would much prefer the devs keep their eyes on the road , and not mess about with inconsequential candy .((I paraphrased somewhat , but I had to get at least some Doors into PS2 :p)

    Get what we have right (balance , bugs , FPS etc) , then meta game , then maps , then vecs and weaps etc .

    I could imagine this as like a 3 way titan mode from BF2142. Would be sweet. Titan mode is and will always be my favorite game mode ever.
