So, what was that about "reinstall the entire client to get FPS boost" this patch? Yay or nay?

    Any further word on that?
Some people said that if you reinstalled the entire client after the patch, some new optimizations would take place for an fps boost. Is it true or not?

Sounds like trolling to me. but as long as your ISP isnt crap 10 gigs only takes a few minutes.

Supposedly Smed said it, idk. lol

yea im gonna redownload the full client while I play and see if it makes a difference but I doubt I will see any better performance for at least a year at the rate they will optimize.

    i7-3820 at 4.3ghz
    16gigs of ddr3 1600
    MSI PE GTX 670

Should easily handle a constant of at least 50fps but I still dip into the low 30s which makes me nauseated. While my friend with a 8320 and a 7970 CLAIMS 50 fps constant but Im going to have to go see for myself as I am 100% sure he is talkin out his *** like most people do =)

I've heard of people deleting the usersettings.ini file for PS2, and then re-loading and adjusting the settings, but I think a reinstall would be a bit absurd for a performance improvement..

An "official" yay or nay would be nice to hear on this :)

I get 40-50 fps average, 30'ish in big battles.
Yes all at max, plus textures at 0 in the ini file (ultra), forced 8x af and renderdistance at -1 (max).

    i5 at stock clock
    8gb ddr3 1333 (or whatever its called)
Gainward 560TI Goldensample, latest nvidia beta drivers 310.64

I did get 15 fps less with the 310.61 drivers, so perhaps that's your issue if u are using them?
Those were the old "u need these for gpu physics" drivers in late beta, they are bugged as heck after the later patches.

That wasn't this patch though - so that's why there was no "redownload"
