Now I'm wondering how this is going to work. Is it a stationary base, an over sized lodestar, an expansive mobile base, or a prop and gimmick for one of the upcoming continents. Doubt we will know until much later, if it even gets that far.

Assuming it is as bit as we think it is, I imagine players don't control it as much as they input destination coordinates in a menu an let it autopilot there.
