depends on how insane the timer is for these things are. and what about those Burster Maxes? how can they miss?

honestly, I believe they would need to make a map that would support something like this, as it stands i dont know if Amerish,Indar or esamir could support say.. 100 of these ships on those continents. not enough real estate.

on a side note, i wonder if these ships are capturable, would give "captains" something to think about before throwing their carrier in the front lines of a battle.

Totally awful, the map is far smaller than you think due to the way people/fights move and to have these floating over head would be the death of the game.

Imagine having to disable one of these like a titan, blowing up the reactor core and subsequently taking out all the tanks, sunderers, and infantry inside...

I have serious doubts that these will be player controlled in any way. I mean, this thing is massive. It's almost certainly bigger than a Tech Plant.

Don't get yourselves too worked up.

Perhaps the upcoming inferno/lava themed continent (it's name escapes me) will be mostly too dangerous to have as many bases as we're used to. These massive ships will be the only way to deploy armored vehicles to the few land masses that are hospitable to ground forces.

The above is a wild guess.

The turrets should be controllable.
It'll probably end up as a flying, destructible base or something, not what a single player could spawn at the vehicle terminal.

Perhaps a new resource will be added, one with a common pool per outfit or even empire to obtain these big thingies?

Pretty sure. It has two ARM-1 clusters on the underside. I don't know exactly what ARM stands for in this case, but if it's artillery, rockets, and mortars, then it's definitely an aircraft.

Why else would smed make reference to people asking for Galaxies being able to carry tanks? It's definitely an airship
