Saddly flying is near impossible for me at the moment, everytime i hot a new zone for about 5 secs i get frame rates of about 1- 2 a sec. Normally, & even when flying in a zone that has 'loaded' its about 30-40. I run on high to medium (shadows medium) at 1980x1650 My spces are i5 2500 460gtx 1gb 4 gb ram 32 bit win 7 I was jsut wondering if anyone else had encounted this, and had found a solution. Thanks
Since GU2 I have had to pretty much give up on flying because of poor frames and stutters. Was fine before that.
your computer aint got enough guts. There is no magic fix, lower the resolution you use and lower the graphics quality.
where do you think the bottlekneck is then, as it's not an awfull build. Like i mentioned it's just when i intialy hit a new zone/ grid after the 5 secs is done it's fine again. This sugests that me the client can't recive all the intial information fast enough. Is that a internet bandwidth issue? ram amount/ speed issue, or CPU, or somthing else. My GPU is a little on the weak side but wouldnt have thought that would cause this problem. I ask as a cpu i5 2500 is still a decent cpu for current gen. Or is it not for this game? is everyone rocking i7's who play PS2?
I have a super shiny computer right now (too lazy for specs, just take my word for it) and get no problems on the highest settings no matter where I go in my scythe (And let me assure you, I go all over). I have not noticed any frame rate decrease in my flying since GU2. I suspect that your physical computer may be more at fault than the game here.
thats why i'm asking where the problem may be so i can upgrade the relavent asspect/s or what settings i should reduce.
