    Lyrics

Sing me a song of a lib that is gone,
Say, could that lib, be I?
Weary of Nerf, he flew on a day,
    Over the sand and sky.

Crown was astern, Crater on the port,
    Mao on the starboard bow,
Glory of youth glowed in his soul,
    Where is that glory now?

Sing me a song of a lib that is gone,
Say, could that lib, be I?
Weary of Nerf, he flew on a day,
    Over the sand and sky.

Give me again all that was there,
Give me the gun that owned!
Give me the nose, give me the bust,
Give me the lib that's gone!

Sing me a song of a lib that is gone,
Say, could that lib, be I?
Weary of Nerf, he flew on a day,
    Over the sand and sky.

Ribbons and cheese, Oneshots and REEEs,
    Mountains of kills and fun,
All that was good, all that was fair,
All that was me is gone.

Sing me a song of a lib that is gone,
Say, could that lib be I?
Weary of Nerf, he flew on a day
    Over the sand and sky.

    Background

The Skye Boat song is a classical Scottish Folk song. This version is a rendition of the 1892 Robert Louis Stevenson Poem, by Auraxis's Folk Rock Supergroup Vanu, Smurf, and Rep.

I wrote it up because while I don't personally fly Liberator, but I am sympathetic to their sentiments after the patch, and the words struck me.

Also, I'm binging Outlander at the moment.
